Noah's POV
I was on the couch when I saw Levy and Anita enter together, very cozily. I didn't care, I had bigger things on my mind.
¨Where have you been? I've been here all afternoon. Been waiting to tell you something important.¨ I said, impatiently.
¨What's going on?¨ Anita asked, and sat down on the couch next to me.
¨Is it Wednesday?¨ Levy asked, leaving his car keys on the kitchen island.
¨Yes. I haven't been saying anything because I didn't know whether it was legit or not, but now I know it is. I'm not starting school.¨
¨Wait, what?¨ Levy asked.
¨What do you mean you're not starting school?¨
¨Rod hired me full time for his production company. I'm gonna be making music all day now.¨
¨That's... great. Wow.¨ Anita said, still a little surprised. ¨Noah, that's amazing.¨
¨That's awesome man, you should've started from there.¨
¨That's not all. Rod wants me to move to LA with him, where the main offices are.¨
Anita and Levy looked at me, shocked.
¨What did you tell him?¨ Anita asked me.
¨That I'd think about it. I'd be going back and forth otherwise, and the only reason I was staying here was for school. But I wouldn't leave you guys.¨
¨No, don't.¨ Levy said, sitting next to me. ¨Stay, dude. We'll make it work.¨
¨Yes.¨ She said. ¨We will. When are you seeing him next? Tell him to explain to you the logistics of you working from here in detail and then we'll adjust. You not going to school, I can handle. But you moving away? No way.¨
¨Yeah, I might. Plus we got a whole thing going on here, I wouldn't wanna leavy Tracy either.¨
¨You're with Tracy?¨ Levy asked, confused. ¨Didn't see that coming, but I guess it was bound to happen.¨
¨Yeah. I invited them both for dinner today, Mia and Tracy. They're coming at 9 and we're ordering food, so take a shower. You smell like sand.¨
Levy looked at Anita, with a concerned look on his face. Anita looked back. What the fuck?
¨Well, later.¨ I said, getting up. I needed to shower urgently if I was gonna see Tracy today.
