Noah's POV
I woke up to the sound of Levy yelling. Not a great beginning to my day.
As soon as I got up a wave of dizziness hit me, and I layed back down.
¨Woah!¨ Levy came to my side. ¨Easy, champ. Here, hydrate.¨
He handed me a glass of water and I chugged it. My head was killing me.
¨What time is it?¨ I asked him.
¨That's what you wake up thinking of?¨
¨No, I have a meeting.¨ I sat on the couch. ¨I have a meeting with Wednesday.¨
¨Oh, yeah. You're good, it's around 12. But do get up, I'm hungry.¨ Levy said.
¨There's a whole foods three blocks away from here.¨ Anita said, walking towards us. ¨Levy and I can go get food while you... recompose yourself.¨
I chuckled. ¨Yeah, that's probably a good idea.¨
¨Let's go!¨ Levy got up and clapped.
The guys left fighting over which rice to buy, which I knew was just Levy pissing her off because he knew nothing about varieties of rice, and I got in my room. I showered while trying to remember something about last night, but I honestly just remember a lot of dancing and drinking. Neat first night, I would say.
I changed, put on clean clothes and set the table. While I waited I also synced the TV to my phone and put on light music in the background. I loved this place.
Levy's POV
¨So what does whole foods sell?¨ I asked.
¨You've never been?¨
¨It's a bit too healthy for me, I fear.¨
She chuckled. ¨Well, you got that right. You'll see.¨
We arrived at Whole Foods and as soon as we stepped foot I was instructed with a list of specific groceries I should look for, all gluten free, of course. God forbid gluten entered our household. We split and she went to do the same thing, so I was on my own.
I started walking around. What the fuck? Who needs 10 different varieties of sugar? This place was the personification of Karens. I need me 10 different varieties of oreos instead of oats. But, I have to make my peace with it. Anita, on the other hand, was behaving as if she was at Disneyland.
¨What are you...?¨ I found her very locked in in the protein bar section.
¨Levy, look at all these flavors!¨ She said, grabbing my arm, excited.
I smiled. ¨You're an almond mom.¨
She scoffed. ¨No, I'm not. I'm an almond enthusiast. Look, look! These are the freeze dried strawberries I told you about on the way here.¨
We walked around the ENTIRE store, section by section. I was so amused by the way she got so excited by everything I honestly ended up having so much fun.
¨Look, açai powder for your yogurts.¨ I said, pointing at the packet on the aisle.
Anita put her hands on both sides of my face. ¨Oh Levy, you're ready. On the cart!¨
I grabbed the packet, but accidentally like ten more fell to the floor. I looked at Anita, panicked.
She burst out laughing and grabbed my hand. ¨Go, go!¨
We finished grabbing all the groceries for the house, which were enough to feed an entire tribe, and checked out.
¨I don't think I've ever had that much fun grocery shopping.¨ I said, on the way back.
¨That's 'cause you've never gone grocery shopping with me.¨ Anita winked at me.
¨I'm never going back now.¨
¨Ha.¨
