Markarth, City of Stone.
"Are you sure that you have no living heirs, King in Rags?" Ancano said. The Thalmor Officer had made sure he took a leave of absence from the College of Winterhold to make his way to the west, to the great Dwarven city of Markarth. He went into Cidhna Mines to speak to one of the prisoners, called the King in Rags. The Old Breton looked up from his writing in his cell room, studying the elf. "My only child is dead. Thanks to one of your generals, he raped the poor girl and threw a curse on her, leading her to her death."
"Ah, you at least remember that. Well, thanks to your little bitch of a child, and a foolish mistake by our Silver Hand colleague, Vulono, your granddaughter is trapezing around Skyrim, stopping dragons and vampires."
"Wouldn't you want something like that." The old breton turned away, his eyes tired.
"I would, but she made a fool of Ambassador Elewen during a meeting with the Greybeards, Tullius and Ulfric. She can be a forgiving woman, but the insult from the little harlot of a grandchild of yours with her criminal husband is too much." Ancano says, looking at his hands in boredom. "And now, the bitch had gotten pregnant and gave birth to a son, along with coercing Vulono's only son to join her. She must be stopped."
"Well, I won't be the one to help you." The King in Rags said, looking up at the elf. "Ask some other wretch. I won't have you touch the girl under my watch."
"Oh I know, Madanach. I know." Ancano said as he turned away. "But I hate seeing families parted. You know what? How about I bring your granddaughter to you? She never even knew she had a living grandsire, much less a Forsworn in the family... but that might be better for her. She did marry a criminal from Falkreath and had young Arodil betray us. It's time they all come here to spend time with you in Cidhna Mine, Madanach."
Ancano turned his back to head out of the mine's prison. Madanach got up and stared out through the bars as Ancano left. "Leave the girl alone, she has no part in this."
"Oh, but you, your highness." Ancano said, staring through the bars, "She does. She's the grandchild of Madanach, Leader of the Forsworn, King in Rags. I believe it is better to have the Dragonborn locked away with her little family with you, that way we can use her and you to our advantage without you doing something foolish."
The old man shook his head, and said, "You are an evil man, Ancano. Skyrim will fall into a uproar over their Dragonborn being locked away in Cidhna Mine."
"Skyrim won't know, but the Aldermari Dominion will." Ancano gave a nasty smile. "I'll be back soon, with your little family. I do not want to miss this reunion."
