One week ago.
Karl stepped back into the alleyway, trying to find an exit. Now, normally he'd just use his power and avoid the situation all together, but this was a bit different. First of all, he already used her power not too long ago, using it again would only fuck this up more. Secondly, it wouldn't do anything either. Schlatt's power made it hard to do anything right now.
"You're making this harder than it needs to be, Timewarp," He spat, leaning on the wall of the alley nonchalantly like he's not holding a damn gun in his hand.
"Maybe you should drop the gun and we could talk like adults?" Karl offered, somewhat sarcastically, gripping on the dagger in their belt.
"Says the one who is clearly ready to grab a dagger," The older retorted, his red eyes piercing through the vigilante's soul.
"What do you want anyway?! I've done nothing to provoke you or any heroes," She yelped, taking another step back.
"I need a bit of help," Schlatt said, checking his nails, "I want you to help me arrest these vigilantes. If you do, we won't try to arrest you anymore."
Karl paused, thinking over the offer. It would be amazing to not have to deal with heroes on the daily but on the other hand, they were basically selling out other vigilantes just to make their life easier.
He decided to give in, "What vigilantes?" He asked, "And why me out of everyone?"
"Well," Schlatt started, nonchalantly spinning his gun on his fingers, "I've tried other vigilantes like Halo and Diamond, Nihachu and some others, although they all refused," He explained, "You were just next on the list. And for the vigilantes, it's T- Wasp, Theseus and Ender. He's- They've been a pain in my ass since they've debuted."
"What?" Karl mumbled, ignoring the shit ton of neon red flags from this conversation, "Aren't they like... 17? Why them out of everyone? They stay out the way for the most part?"
The taller scoffed, "So many questions, can't you just listen to what I said?"
"I'm not doing this, Schlatt. They're kids! They shouldn't even be vigilantes!"
Schlatt looked nothing but uninterested, blinking nonchalantly.
"Fine," He accepted before grinning, "But I want you to know that I know where to find you and your boyfriend."
"What...?"
"I advise you choose wisely."
"Fine! Fucking fine! I'll do it!" Karl shouted, despite her better judgement, "Just..." She mumbled, her voice getting quieter, "Leave Sapnap alone. He has nothing to do with this."
"Great. Don't disappoint me Karl."
"How do you..."
He just shrugged.

Tubbo yawned, dangling his feet over the edge of a building. They were ending patrol now, him and Tommy were just waiting for Ranboo to bandage up a few wounds, then they'd be safe to teleport home.
It was silent, the three teenagers deciding to purely enjoy each other's presence.
Then there was footsteps.
Tubbo turned around, nearly falling off the edge, while the other two followed.
It was Timewarp, the vigilante.
"Hi," She said, her voice sounding a lot sadder than normal, "I'm here to arrest you guys. It would be best if you made it easy for yourselves and don't fight it. There's nothing you can do about it."
"What? What did-"
Holy fucking shit.
Techno told him about this.
He stood up, swiftly grabbing his dagger. Tommy followed him while Ranboo finished bandaging their arm.
"Bold of you to assume you could beat a three vs one," Tommy retorted, his ears flicking towards Tubbo, pointing his dart gun at the brunette in front of them.
"You three really don't know how to follow instructions," She said with a sad chuckle.
"Why would we want to get arrested, though?" Ranboo asked, flicking their tail and standing up, towering over everyone else on the rooftop.
"I dunno," Timewarp shrugged, "You just gotta."
"We're not letting you arrest us," Tommy interjected, glancing over at Tubbo for reassurance, who nodded.
Timewarp sighed, "You really should learn how to survive as a vigilante."
"I mean," Tubbo said, "We've survived this long."
"Anyway," She started, "Are you going to make this easy for yourself or no?"
"Nope," Tommy replied honestly.
"Okay then," Timewarp said before knocking Tommy down with his leg.
Tommy yelped, almost falling off the edge before he got caught by Ranboo.
Timewarp sighed, swiftly grabbing the dart gun that Tommy had dropped.
"Alright. Now you three can come with or... Yeah."
"Try me bitch," Tubbo answered, pulling out his dagger and shifting his foot, calmly waiting for Timewarp to do something.
As he expected, she shot a dart at him, which he quickly deflected. Shout out to Tommy for costantly chucking things at him.
Ranboo took out their baton, teleporting behind Timewarp and hitting them, knocking Tommy's darrt gun out of their hands.
"Sorry!" They apologised, kicking the gun over towards Tommy, who grabbed it immediately.
"Alright, Timewarp," Tommy began, pointing the dart gun at the taller brunette, "so you can leave us alone or I will give you ink poisoning."
Timewarp glared at the raccoon hybrid before picking himself up, putting his hands up in surrender. "Alright," He agreed, "I'll go. Just... Stay safe, okay? There's other people who won't be as nice as I was."
Ranboo flicked their tail, shifting uncomfortably while the older vigilante left.
"What does she mean by that?" They mumbled, fidgeting with their hands.
They all paused, silence washing over the rooftop.
"THERE'S GONNA BE MORE?!" Tommy shouted, seeming rightfully pissed.
Tubbo groaned, covering his face with his hands, "I hate my liiiiiiiiife."
"Let's go home," Ranboo murmured, getting nods from the other two teenagers.
