The studio is buzzing with energy as Y/N and Walker settle into their seats for the interview. Bright lights beam down, creating a warm glow that feels both inviting and intimidating. The host smiles at them, ready to dive in.
"Alright, you two! Let's start with some fun questions. What's been your favorite scene to film so far?" the host asks, glancing between them.
Y/N leans forward, a smile creeping onto her face. "Definitely the scene at the beach! The chemistry between all of us was incredible, and we just had so much fun."
Walker nods, grinning. "Yeah, that was epic. The bonfire scene was a blast, too. I mean, who doesn't love s'mores?"
They both chuckle, the mood lightening as they reminisce about their experiences on set.
"What about your characters? Do you relate to them in any way?" the host continues, flipping through his notes.
Y/N shrugs, contemplating. "I think Layla's confidence is something I admire. I'm still working on finding my own, but she inspires me."
Walker leans back, arms crossed, his expression thoughtful. "For me, it's about loyalty. I think that's something I really value, and it definitely resonates with my character."
As the questions roll on, they discuss their favorite moments, funny mishaps, and behind-the-scenes antics. It's a comfortable exchange, filled with laughter and playful banter, but then the tone shifts.
"So, Y/N, how does it feel to have such famous parents? Do you ever feel like you're in their shadow?" the host asks, tilting his head slightly.
Y/N's stomach drops. The question catches her off guard. She glances at Walker, who's suddenly tense beside her, his jaw clenched.
"I—I don't really think about it like that," Y/N stammers, trying to maintain her composure. "I'm just focused on my own path and what I want to achieve."
The host presses on, his expression unyielding. "But surely it affects your career, right? You have to feel some pressure?"
Y/N swallows hard, feeling the heat of the lights and the weight of expectations bearing down on her. "It's definitely a lot sometimes, but I try not to let it dictate who I am or what I do."
"Do you feel like people perceive you differently because of your family?" the host asks, leaning in.
She feels a wave of anxiety wash over her. "I mean, yeah, but I can't control how others see me. I just want to be Y/N."
The host nods but doesn't let up. "And how does it feel to have a dad like Ryan Reynolds? Do you ever feel overshadowed by his success?"
At that moment, Y/N's heart races. The room seems to close in around her, and she struggles to catch her breath. The air feels thick, and she realizes she's not ready for this.
"I—" she starts, but the words stick in her throat.
Before she knows it, she's standing up, panic setting in. "I need a moment," she says, her voice shaky. Without waiting for a response, she rushes out of the room, leaving Walker behind.
"Y/N!" she hears him call after her, but she can't stop.
As she stumbles down the hall, she can't breathe. It's as if the walls are closing in, and the lights are too bright. She finds a stairwell and leans against the cool wall, trying to ground herself.
She hears Walker still in the room, his voice rising in frustration. "Why would that ever be okay to ask?" he snaps, his tone cold and protective. "Leave her the fuck alone."
Y/N presses her hands to her chest, trying to calm the frantic beating of her heart. The echoes of the interview drift down the hall, and she catches bits of Walker's fierce defense.
"She has fucking anxiety, asshole!"
His voice reverberates in her mind, mixing with her own turmoil. She sinks to the floor, clutching her knees, wishing for the overwhelming sensation to pass.
