Y/N sits at the kitchen counter, sipping her morning coffee, when her phone rings. It's an unknown number, but something about it catches her attention. She swipes to answer.
"Hello?"
"Hi, is this Y/N Reynolds?" The voice on the other end is professional but warm.
"Yeah, this is Y/N. Who's this?"
"I'm calling from the casting department for *Percy Jackson*. We had an unexpected opening, and we'd like to offer you the role of Layla, Aphrodite's daughter."
Y/N almost drops her cup. "Wait, really?"
"Yes! We understand it's last-minute, but we believe you'd be a perfect fit for the role. Also... let's just say a few people have not-so-subtly been dropping hints about you."
Y/N laughs, her heart racing as excitement bubbles up. *Walker,* she thinks. "Oh my god. Uh, yeah! Of course, I'd love to!"
The casting director goes over some details before hanging up. Y/N sits there in stunned silence, her mind spinning. *Layla. Daughter of Aphrodite. A freaking demigod.*
Her phone buzzes again—this time it's a text from Walker.

**Demigods + Y/N**
*Walker*: Hey, wanna grab lunch?
*Y/N*: I have news. Meet me in 20?
---
When Y/N meets Walker at their favorite café, he's already waiting at a table, scrolling through his phone. She takes a deep breath, then walks up.
"Hey," she greets, pulling out the chair across from him.
Walker looks up with a smile, but his expression shifts as he notices her excitement. "What's up?"
"So... I just got offered a role in *Percy Jackson*."
Walker raises an eyebrow, confused. "Wait, what? But you're not..."
"They just called me," Y/N interrupts, her words tumbling out in a rush. "I'm playing Layla. Aphrodite's daughter."
For a second, Walker just stares at her, stunned. Then a grin slowly spreads across his face. "No way. Are you serious?"
Y/N nods, unable to contain her excitement. "I'm serious! I'm officially a demigod."
Walker lets out a whoop and reaches across the table to grab her hand. "That's amazing! You're gonna kill it."
"Thanks," Y/N says, her cheeks flushing. But even as she smiles, she can't shake the underlying tension between them. This new role means they'll be spending even more time together—on and off set. What if that complicates things even more?
As they finish lunch, the weight of her news lingers, a mixture of excitement and uncertainty bubbling beneath the surface. Y/N wonders what it all means for her relationship with Walker.
