The Vancouver airport bustled with the usual activity of travelers arriving and departing. Ryan and I stood by the arrivals gate, anticipation dancing in the air. I was practically bouncing on my heels, eager to see Walker again.

"Dad, are you sure we're in the right place?" I asked for what felt like the hundredth time.

Ryan glanced at me with a smirk. "Yes, Y/N. The flight's on time. Walker's probably just taking his sweet time."

Before I could respond, a familiar face emerged from the crowd. Walker's eyes scanned the area, and when they landed on me, his smile widened. He dropped his bags and moved toward us, his excitement evident.

"Walker!" I called out, practically sprinting toward him.

Walker's face lit up as he caught me in a warm hug. "Hey, Y/N! It's so good to see you!"

"It's great to see you too!" I replied, pulling back slightly but keeping my hands on his shoulders. "I missed you!"

Ryan approached, his expression shifting from his usual protective demeanor to a welcoming smile. "Hey, Walker. Good to see you again."

Walker and Ryan exchanged a friendly handshake. "Hey, Mr. Reynolds. Thanks for picking me up. It's always good to see you."

Ryan chuckled, giving Walker a warm pat on the back. "No trouble at all. It's like picking up one of my own kids."

I couldn't help but smile at Ryan's words, noticing Walker's cheeks flush slightly at the compliment.

Without missing a beat, I leaned in and planted a quick kiss on Walker's cheek. It was a gesture I'd done countless times before, feeling completely natural.

Walker blinked in surprise, his face turning a shade redder. "You missed," he teased, trying to play it cool.

I smirked playfully. "You wish."

Ryan raised an eyebrow, glancing between Walker and me. "Walker, you better take good care of her."

Walker's face turned an even deeper shade of red. "Of course, Mr. Reynolds. I wouldn't have it any other way."

We gathered Walker's bags and headed to the car. Ryan drove us to Walker's hotel, chatting with him about their recent filming experiences. The easy camaraderie between them was a testament to their time working together on *The Adam Project*. I could see the mutual respect and friendship they shared, which made me even more excited for the days ahead.

When we arrived at the hotel, Ryan parked the car and helped Walker with his bags.

"Thanks for the ride, Mr. Reynolds," Walker said, giving Ryan a grateful smile.

"No problem at all," Ryan replied. "Just remember to be a good friend to my daughter."

Walker nodded earnestly. "I will."

As Walker checked into the hotel and settled in, Ryan and I stood by the entrance. Ryan gave me a knowing look before he turned back to Walker. "You know the rules, Walker. Look after her, or you'll have to answer to me."

Walker chuckled, nodding. "Got it, Mr. Reynolds. I'll make sure to."

With one last wave, Ryan and I watched him head inside. Once Walker was settled, we drove back to my house. I couldn't wait to catch up with Walker and spend some quality time together. With Walker here and Ryan's support, I was eager for the adventures and moments that awaited us in Vancouver.
