"I'm so sorry Sammy." I said looking at him as he let me go.
"Don't call me Sammy." He snapped back.
"I'm sorry I couldn't tell you." I said tears brimming my eyes.
"Couldn't, or wouldn't?" He glared back.
"Sam, please don't be like this." I pleaded.
"No, lying breaks people apart, and if you can't tell the truth, then get out." He said getting up, and pointed to the door. I was so shocked this wasn't the Sam I knew. I watched him as he walked out of the bathroom, and yelled at people that the party was over, and they had to leave. I started sobbing if the loving, caring Sam was like this I was horrified of what Dean would say. I picked myself up off the floor, and started sneaking off to my room when I turned a corner, and ran straight into a pissed off Dean.
"Why didn't you tell us?!" He yelled in my face. I felt tears roll down my cheeks.
"D-Dean I-" I started, but was cut off.
"Save it. Come with me we're gonna have a little family meeting." He said grabbing my wrist, and dragging me to the library where Sam, and Cas were sitting.
"So Angel, and a demon, huh?" Dean stared at me from across the table. I sat down, and looked over at Cas who was looking into his lap. I looked into my lap, and stayed silent.
"Say something God damnit!" Dean said pounding his fist on the table. I ignored him, and played with my thumbs.
"Dean, just shut up let her stay silent if that's what she wants." Sam said clearly annoyed. They started fighting, and then Dean threw a punch, and a second later they were on the floor fighting. I felt anger rise up in me. Why can't they just accept me, and stop fighting!!! I started getting angry at them, but then it turned into being angry at myself for lying. I sat up angry, and felt my wings flare under my shirt. "STOP IT!!!!" I yelled as my shirt ripped open leaving me in my tank top. My wings flared big, and strong as they stopped fighting, and looked at me in awe.
"STOP FIGHTING GOD DAMN! IF YOU WANT ME TO LEAVE, THEN I'LL BE OUT BY THE MORNING!!!" I screamed at them wings flaring. I looked at them, they looked terrified, even Castiel. I felt tears prickle down my face as I ran to my bedroom to see a scared, and horrified look on my daughters face.
"Dani, baby I'm so sorry." I ran over, and hugged her.
"M-Mama I don't l-like them." She sobbed into my shoulder.
"Shhh, baby it's alright." I looked at her, and gasped, she looked like she was six, and when she looks like she's six, then she'll start ageing normal.
"Mama" she cleared her throat. "I don't like them, but I want to stay, cause I read their minds, and they care about you Mama, they care a lot." She looked at me with puppy dog eyes.
"Dani, baby I-" I heard a knock on my door, and Danielle went invisible.
"Can I come in." I heard Dean's soft voice.
"Yeah, sure." I answered as I heard the door click open.
"Listen" he sat down on my bed, and scratched his neck. "I'm sorry about what happened out there, but I want you to- me, and Sam want you to stay.
I smiled at his attempt to apologize. "How could I say no to my big bro?" I asked, and tackled him in a hug.
"No chick flick moments." He said shoving my body off his. "Hey um, why can we see your wings? I mean their cool, like really cool, but why?" He asked.
"Well, I'm part human too so that's why you can see my wings." I smiled.
"Oh...Alex can I talk to you about something?" He played with his thumbs. "Cas told me about what you do to yourself." He had a sad look on his face. I pulled my sweater sleeves down further, and cleared my throat.
"I-" I started, but was interrupted. "Alexandra, just stop. Don't try to lie I know." He said shoving my sweater sleeves up to reveal many different cuts, some big some small, some deep some light.
"Please, Alex you need to stop, just please tell me whats wrong." He said with sad eyes.
"I-I can't." I whispered.
"Can't, or won't?" He lifted my chin up, and looked into my eyes.
"W-Won't. Please get out I need time to think." I said sitting up.
"Okay. Tell me if you need anything." He said closing the door behind him.
I lied down on my bed, and did what I told Dean I need to do. Think.
I needed to tell them, but that would put them, and Dani in danger. My life was so fucked up, I mean I'm only 17, and I have a daughter who is already six. I need to tell them I just don't know how. I just need to keep Dani hidden until I know what to do.
"Mama! Look what happened!" Dani cried turning visible, and showing me her back where two little silver wings were growing.
"Oh my! Your wings are gorgeous Dani!" I said hugging her.
"But your wings are bigger, and stronger!" She said looked at my big black wings.
"Thats because I'm older then you." I stated, and she giggled. "How bout we go to sleep? We've both have had a big day." I said picking her up, and carrying her to my bed, and shutting the light off.
