THE CAST HAD ARRIVED ON SET, EVERYONE EXCEPT MADISON AND. "guys, where's maddie?" drew asked. chase shrugged, while rudy and madelyn talked about the briefing the writers wanted to have with them today. madelyn's phone started to ring, it was madison face-timing her. she answered the call, holding the phone in front of her as she shielded her face from the sun. "maddie, where are you? we have the briefing thing right now." rudy asked, getting into the frame. "that is now tomorrow, we have the hunt today," madison replied, smiling after seeing madelyn and rudy's reactions. "what the f*ck?" austin muttered, everybody surrounded madelyn to talk to madison on the phone. "mhm, and it starts now," the girl on the phone replied, "i will be on face-time with you guys 'til you reach the spot where i am." 

"so, are you guys ready?" she asked, everybody exchanged looks with each other before madelyn said yes to her. "okay, so some rules. you can't use your phone except for the first clue or the violator pays a fine, you can't cut the face time call or you pay a fine. and the recurring rule, you will get three guesses in the end and if you get all of them wrong, you pay me two hundred dollars each. but if y'all win, then the new cast member and i buy you guys dinner wherever you want. oh, and you'll also buy us dinner tonight," madison said. "this is revenge for when i ate her donuts," rudy mumbled. "your first clue will be found in drew's vanity, since the new cast member is playing his new love interest," the girl on the phone said, madelyn handed drew her phone and tied her hair. "race you boys to it," she ran and rudy, drew and austin followed while chase and jonathan just walked while talking. 

till the time jonathan and chase reached, drew had been exposed for hiding candy in the drawers, they had a rule that all snacks shall be shared, and was getting a scolded by madelyn. "guys,  we need to look for a clue!" austin had to remind to start looking for them. madison was on mute and it looked like she was talking to someone who wasn't in the frame, "maddie, what are we looking for?" jonathan asked, taking the phone from drew. "you'll see it," she replied, and went on mute again. rudy groaned, while drew and chase went into the bathroom. drew saw an envelope stuck behind the hairdryer, "guys, i got it!" he yelled. they all huddled in the bathroom as he tore open the envelope, "what's it say? what's it say?" rudy yelled. madelyn told him to shut up and calm down while drew took the paper inside it out. there was a number on the paper, 28. "what? is she like, 28 or something?" drew mumbled, turning his head left and right to look at the rest of them. 

"turn the page," austin said, and he did. "it says: taco bell," he read. "taco bell was established in the 60s, so not related to that," jonathan said. "how far is the taco bell from here?" rudy asked, drew took his phone out and check. "2.8 miles," he said, and kept his phone back inside. "i guess, we're going to taco bell then," madelyn said, taking the keys of the van from rudy's pocket. "come on, guys!" she yelled, as all of them made their way to the car. "maddie, are we on the right track?" chase asked, he had taken the phone from jonathan. "what? i wasn't listening," she said, after unmuting herself. he caught her up, "yeah, i guess y'all are doing fine," madison replied.

madelyn drove to taco bell, while austin and jonathan discussed how madison had been really determined to make her hunt better than chase's. chase looked out the window the whole drive, while rudy and drew tried to get some verbal clues out of madison, who muted herself and resumed talking to the person she had been talking to. "wait, maddie. are you with her?" rudy asked, madison nodded without unmuting. "can we hear her voice once? please?" drew asked and maddie shook her head to deny without unmuting. "spoilsport," rudy mumbled, which earned him a glare from her.
