ARABELLA HAD JUST CUT THE CALL, she had been speaking to nick and camila for the past hour. apparently, he was staying the night because of heavy rain and they were making food together. well, nick was cooking and camila was just standing there and looking pretty. they had just come back after filming a movie together, they were playing each other's love interests and to arabella, the chemistry seemed definitely real.

nick even gave camila his hoodie, which made arabella start shipping them again. they definitely liked each other, arabella could not not believe that they didn't. they talked about filming, they asked about outer banks, the cast, drew, the food there, more about drew, her hotel room, more about drew and then, more about drew. they just couldn't stop talking about drew, for some reason. they told her that they had watched hellraiser and told her about how good he was in the movie, it made arabella feel weird.

she told both of them about how she spent time with his niece and how he had gotten her pads and chocolate, they started smirking which made arabella regret telling them. "drewella, that's a nice ship name," nick had said, after which arabella threatened to come to san diego and beat him up. both of them told her to relax a little, watch a movie and have some wine to take her mind off work. it was a good idea, except for the fact that she couldn't find her wine opener anywhere.

she had looked in her suitcase - which had been lying empty for the past two weeks, she checked her wardrobe, her cupboard, the little kitchen in her room and even in her washroom. she texted the cast groupchat, in case anybody had it and all of them, except for drew, said no. drew just left people on seen most of them time, or in this case, delivered.

she decided to go and ask him, he was barely twenty steps away. she got off her bed and changed into big brown tee which had the blue banisters tracklist on it, it was one of the many gifts from emma which she had given her after she had won her oscar for west side story. she opened her messy braid and let her hair fall on her shoulders before making a neater braid. she grabbed her room key and her bottle of wine and opened the door, closing it behind her.

she subconsciously counter the number of steps from her room to drew's room, they were eight and a half, six with a spin and five when she moonwalked. she decided to stop fooling around and knocked on the door, he heard him yell to ask who it was but she decided not to say anything. he opened the door, he opened the door whole and looked annoyed. "do you have my wine opener?" she asked, pointing to the bottle of wine in her hand.

"i guess. let me check," he said and he stepped aside so that she could come in. she stood a few steps ahead of the doorframe and looked at his messed up bed, she concluded that he had been lying in it because his glasses were tossed on it, along with his phone and his hoodie. she looked at the television, which was showing a movie but the movie was paused.

he went to his little kitchen and took out the wine opener from a drawer, while she was too busy trying to remember which movie it was. "is that la la land?" she recognised the shot of the traffic in the beginning, just after the first song gets over. "um, yeah." he said, his lips pressed in a thin line. he handed her the wine opener and she gave him a half-smile. "you-you wanna join me? i could share the movie, you could share the wine."

for a second, he thought she'd say no, but she didn't say anything. she just took her flip-flops off near the bed and got under the blanket. her back resting on the headboard and the blanket over her legs. she started to open the bottle, "woah, woah, woah. not on the bed," he snatched the bottle from her and opened it with a pop after a few seconds with the corkscrew. he kept the cork on the nightstand next to her and got two wine glasses from the kitchen.
