Howdy folks. I'm going to be totally real with you here, the only reason I'm writing this right now is because my gf thought my "process" for writing was mind boggling and should be shared.
Earnest Hemingway once said, and I'm paraphrasing, "the first draft of everything is shit." And I resonate with that on a spiritual level. So naturally, every single chapter you have seen and read up to this point, including this note, is a first draft. I have not revised any of them at all. As a matter of fact, outside of the general direction the story is taking, and the specific scenes I know I want to happen at some point, I don't do any planning what so ever. I literally just sit down and say "Alright, time to write."
I don't even know what's going to be in the chapter until I write it. For me, I don't even have to think about it. I just sit down and start typing and the story just kinda comes out. Like I'm some sort of conduit for the story, not actually being the one to make it. But yea, still gonna be an update today.
Honestly, since I'm on, it might come out here in the next 2 hours or so. Yea, anyways. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
