TW: lots of kissing and cheesy talking
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
During dinner, my gaze constantly drifted back to Sanji's lips, remembering how soft they felt against mine. Only moments ago, I was in his arms and he kissed me for the first time. Recalling the feeling of his warm mouth against mine, sent shivers down my spine, leaving me wanting more, longing for his touch.
Sanji noticed my staring and a cocky smirk formed on his face. I averted my gaze and a deep pink coloured my cheeks, in embarrassment at being caught red-handed. A soft chuckle vibrated from his chest, sending a warm feeling to my stomach, tension building in the air. However, the rest of our crew didn't seem to notice, oblivious to the unspoken exchange between us.
The blonde leaned down and whispered in a low voice so that only I would be able to hear him. "You know, it's not polite to stare." His breath brushed against my ear and my face reddened even more. "But I must admit, I thought about it too. Can't wait to kiss those sweet lips again."
I swear if he was going to continue speaking this way, I was going to explode from all this tension. Closing my eyes, I tried to calm my nerves. Stopping myself from reaching over and smashing my mouth against his, in front of everyone. Of course, our friends were going to find out, but first I needed to make sure that Sanji was serious about this.
Then abruptly he rose from his seat and made his way under deck, calling out, "I'll be right back!"
Furrowing my brows, I stayed put, confused by his sudden leave. I looked over at Robin, who was smiling at me knowingly. What was going on? And why did she seem to know about it, while I didn't? Strange.
I was about to ask her when I felt a gentle tap on my shoulder. Turning around, I was met with a happily grinning Sanji. "I have a surprise for you," he told me, his voice brimming with excitement. A surprise? My mind raced with possibilities. Could it be a special dessert he made just for me? A new recipe he'd been working on? Or perhaps a thoughtful gift—a bouquet of flowers, maybe?
A loud laugh, coming from Sanji, filled the air when he saw my wide-eyed look of disbelief. "It's not what you think it is," he said, as if could read my mind. "Don't overthink it, or you might break that pretty head of yours. You'll never figure it out, so you'll just have to wait and see," he teased, his smile growing even brighter.
I rolled my eyes playfully, trying to hide my excitement. He leaned in closer, lowering his voice to a whisper. "Trust me, you're going to love it."
Pouting, I looked at him with puppy eyes. "How long do I have to wait?"
"Till I'm finished doing the dishes."
"That's not fair!" I protested, crossing my arms. "I want to know now!" The impatience definitely ran in the family.
Just then, Robin chimed in, "It's fine, I'll do it."
"You don't have to, Robin-chan," Sanji said, waving a hand dismissively, clearly not wanting to burden her.
"I insist," she replied, her tone firm but gentle. "You should focus on your surprise for Aileen."
Reluctantly, Sanji sighed and agreed, shooting the archaeologist an appreciative smile. "Alright, but only if you promise to let me make it up to you later." A small smile crept onto the woman's lips as she nodded.
I jumped up from my seat, eager to see this surprise. Sanji led me under deck, coming to a halt in front of my room. My heart raced with curiosity as he turned to me, a playful glint in his eyes.
