The morning light filtered through the curtains, gently waking Beomgyu from his sleep. He groaned softly, reluctant to get out of bed. It was another day of college, and even though he wanted to stay in bed, he knew he couldn’t. Stretching his arms, he found his thoughts drifting to Soojin again. How old is she? The question nagged at him, but he was too scared to ask Soobin just yet. It felt too awkward and personal.

After a quick shower, Beomgyu dressed in his usual oversized hoodie and shorts. The hoodie was so long that it covered the shorts entirely, making it look like he was only wearing the hoodie. He glanced at himself in the mirror and blushed. It wasn’t like him to care, but something about the outfit today made him feel a bit shy.

Heading downstairs, he froze at the sight of Soobin. He was shirtless, wearing only a pair of black pants, his lean muscles visible as he reached for a glass of water. Beomgyu’s cheeks heated up as he stared.

Noticing Beomgyu’s gaze, Soobin smirked. “Good morning, babe. See something you like?” His voice was teasing, his eyes full of mischief.

Blushing harder, Beomgyu walked over to him, standing on his toes to plant a quick kiss on Soobin’s lips. Soobin kissed him back, the touch gentle but firm.

“Hey, you can’t just be this hot in the house, Mr. Soobin,” Beomgyu whined softly.

Soobin chuckled, his deep voice sending a shiver down Beomgyu’s spine. “And you can’t stop me,” he replied, his smirk widening.

Blushing even more, Beomgyu pouted. “You’re impossible! Aren’t you going to the office today?”

“Nope, it’s my day off,” Soobin said, ruffling Beomgyu’s hair. “But you still have college, and I’ll drive you there.”

Beomgyu nodded, happy that Soobin would be coming with him. After Soobin went upstairs to put on a shirt, they had breakfast together before heading out.

In the car, Beomgyu hesitated before asking, “Soobinnie… can I ask you something?”

“Of course, babe,” Soobin responded, glancing at Beomgyu with a soft smile. “What’s on your mind?”

“How old is Soojin?” Beomgyu asked carefully. “And… what was her dream job?”

Soobin’s face stiffened slightly, and his grip on the steering wheel tightened. After a moment, he sighed. “Soojin is 23… she always wanted to be a college teacher.” His voice dropped a little before adding, “I fired her when we broke up.”

Beomgyu nodded, his curiosity satisfied but sensing Soobin’s discomfort. “Thanks for telling me.” Leaning over, he gave Soobin a quick kiss. “I love you.”

“I love you too, Gyu,” Soobin said softly, watching as Beomgyu stepped out of the car and headed toward the building.

As Beomgyu entered the college, he spotted Taehyun waiting by the lockers. “Hey, Tyunnie!” Beomgyu greeted with a smile.

“Morning. I heard we’re getting a new teacher for our Korean class today,” Taehyun said.

“Really? Do you know if it’s a guy or a girl?” Beomgyu asked, curious.

“I heard it’s a girl,” Taehyun shrugged. “Guess we’ll find out soon.”

They made their way to class, but halfway through the lecture, Beomgyu’s stomach growled softly. Taehyun, always prepared, handed him a piece of bread.

“Here, eat this. I brought it just in case,” Taehyun said with a small smile.

“Thanks, Tyunnie. You’re the best,” Beomgyu mumbled, grateful as he took the bread. As he ate, the door to the classroom swung open.

The new teacher walked in, her presence commanding the attention of everyone in the room. Beomgyu’s heart sank when he saw who it was. Soojin.

She introduced herself to the class, her eyes scanning the room until they landed on Beomgyu. Her gaze hardened, and Beomgyu immediately felt himself shrinking under her cold stare.

The class continued, but Beomgyu could feel the tension in the air. His heart pounded, and he struggled to focus as Soojin kept throwing him sharp glances filled with disdain.

Then, she finally addressed him.

“Park Beomgyu,” Soojin said, her voice dripping with venom. “Or should I say, Choi Beomgyu, the one who stole my husband. How useless can you be?”

The room went silent. All eyes turned to Beomgyu, and his face burned with embarrassment. He wanted to run, to disappear, but his legs felt like they were glued to the floor.

Soojin’s next words were even more cutting. “You’re not only useless, but you got yourself pregnant too, didn’t you?”

Gasps filled the room. Whispers broke out among the students, and Beomgyu could hear them calling him useless, laughing at his misfortune. Unable to take it anymore, he bolted from the room, tears streaming down his face.

“BEOMGYU, WAIT!” Taehyun shouted, running after him.

Taehyun finally caught up with Beomgyu, finding him curled up on the floor in the hallway, crying. Kneeling beside him, Taehyun gently placed a hand on his shoulder. “It’s okay, Gyu. I’m calling Soobin-hyung. He’ll take care of you.”

Taehyun grabbed Beomgyu’s phone and quickly dialed Soobin’s number.

“Soobin-hyung, can you come to the college? Beomgyu’s not feeling well,” Taehyun said, his voice steady but concerned.

“I’m on my way,” Soobin replied immediately. “Stay with him no matter what.”

Taehyun stayed by Beomgyu’s side until Soobin arrived. As soon as Soobin saw Beomgyu, his face filled with worry. “What happened, baby? Tell me.”

Beomgyu shook his head, tears still falling. “Soojin… she’s my Korean teacher. She embarrassed me in front of the whole class…”

Soobin’s expression darkened as he gently lifted Beomgyu into his arms. “Shhh, it’s okay, my baby. Let’s get you out of here.”

He carried Beomgyu to the car, and as they drove off, Soobin glanced at him. “I’m sorry, Gyu. I didn’t know this would happen.”

Beomgyu leaned into Soobin’s chest, his exhaustion overtaking him. “It’s okay… I just want to go home.”

Soobin held him close, whispering softly. “You can sleep, my love. I’ll get you home.”

And with that, Beomgyu drifted off, safe in Soobin’s arms.
