Blood and stars

Prologue

Amidst the depths of outer space among the countless stars and planets one stands out from the rest. A large planet of blue and green filled to the brim with vast oceans, lakes, ravines and springs of crystal blue water. Jungles, forests, grasslands and valleys brimming with lush green vegetation stretch far and wide. Unusually large herbivores graze the lands while others are hunted by big predatory beasts. Bison like creatures fight back against very large felines. A massive carnivorous reptile butts heads with a slightly smaller hairy beast that has huge antlers. Among these primal creatures are tribes of man. Countless clans of humans populate the lands living separately.

These tribes harbor powerful men and beautiful women who all live together in large but primitive settlements built from wood and stone. They wear clothes woven from cloth and fur. Each settlement has one thing in common a tall and large obelisk made from metal and crystal with intricate symbols carved into it. Each obelisk stands at the middle of a settlement. Some obelisks are decorated while others are surrounded by graves.

Many of the men in the tribe busy themselves doing exercises or martial arts. While the women busy themselves doing chores such as cooking, cleaning, weaving and decorating. Although other women on the other hand busy themselves by spending time with their men. Some affectionately share wreaths they made for one and other while several other women play pranks on their husband's and end up bursting out laughing or giggling.

A young but athletically built boy is sent to the ground with a thud by a much more muscular young boy. The two of them are dressed in light leather clothes and surrounded by a small crowd. The athletic boy quickly rolls away to avoid a powerful stomp from the more bulky boys foot. The athletic boy gets up and throws a series of jabs which are easily blocked by the bulky boys meaty arms. The bulky boy swings his arm in a wide arc and smashes his fist across the athletic boys face sending him crashing into the dirt.

???: "Hahaha! See I told you before strength always prevails."

The bulky muscular boy proclaims while showing off his muscles proudly. Meanwhile the athletic boy slowly pushes himself up with a dark bruise on the side of his face. He spits out some blood and wipes his mouth.

???/mind: 'I will not let him win I am the chiefs son I will be victorious.'

The athletic boy thinks to himself as he settles into a defensive stance as the bulky boy grins and charges at him. The bulky boy swings his meaty arms in several wide arcs with his fists. But the athletic boy nimbly dodges the blows and counters with quick and precise jabs to the meaty boys torso.

???/mind: 'I need to ware him out this body of his isn't built for endurance. I'll outlast him.'

The chiefs son thinks to himself as he remains defensive and nimbly dodges the bulky boys attacks while throwing jabs as counters occasionally. Over time the bulkier boy becomes winded and then the athletic boy strikes. He throws a barrage of blows ranging from knee strikes, elbow strikes, jabs, hooks and kicks. Eventually the meaty boy falls to the ground in a bruised heap. Members of the crowd cheer while others are silently dissatisfied. A middle aged man covered in lean muscles approaches the boy and pats his head.

???: "Well done boy you've made your father proud. When the God's visit us again we'll prove that martial arts is much better than those animal loving fools."

The man clearly the chief says while congratulating his son who grins proudly while huffing and puffing.

Elsewhere deep in a jungle is another tribe of men and women whose settlement is made from structures built by mud bricks and thatch roofs. The men and women are outfitted in clothes made from leather and wood. The settlement also has an obelisk of metal and crystal at its center with symbols carved into it. The tribes men all have different animal tattoos on different parts of their bodies.
