A ferocious storm of wind and rain has struck the island causing sand to blow across the ground and trees to shake violently. Lightning and thunder crackles and rumbles within the sky and within the village most of the colorfully feathered female lizarthraxians spend their time in their homes. Some sleep, some indulge in pleasure, some meditate and some train or eat. The priestesses in the temple on the other hand are mostly busy doing deep meditation and enduring grueling training. Within the violent wind blowing across a beach on the island is a crab scurrying across the sand. The crab bumps into a large feminine body of white scales and before it can have any time to react a flying beast swoops down and snatches the crab up.

With a groan Agatha's eyes slowly blink open while she's laying on her back against the sand of the beach. She stares up at the stormy and windy sky with a serene and peaceful gaze in her eyes. She just stays still for several moments until she slowly sits up with sand falling down her back. She glances around and sees Duncan sitting in the sand besides her his new crimson eyes wistfully staring into the violent waters of the ocean. The two of them sit in a comfortable silence and the only disturbing their silence is the storm and the waves of the ocean.

Agatha: "Duncan."

Agatha says breaking the silence and she turns to face Duncan with a grateful and longing look in her eyes.

Agatha: "Thank you for bringing me here."

Agatha says in gratitude but Duncan gives her no response instead he just continues staring at the waves but a smile forms on his face and he stands up. He turns to face Agatha and holds out his hand to her.

Duncan: "We should head back to the village."

Agatha smiles and takes Duncan's hand as they both make their way back to the village they both treck through the jungle until they arrive back at the village. They head into Zilitha's home where she is sitting on a mat meditating. She opens her eyes when she sees the two of them and a knowing look crosses her face.

Zilitha: "You've both found yourselves I see."

Neither of them respond but Zilitha can tell by their silence they have both changed.

Zilitha: "Agatha..."

Zilitha says and collapses into Agatha's arms as she breaks down crying.

Zilitha: "I-I'm...s-so sorry...I'm sorry I was never there for you. I-I...was never a mother...I failed you."

Zilitha sobs and wheezes into Agatha's chest leaving her in total confusion after several moments of uncontrolled sobs Zilitha pulls away and confesses the truth. She confesses how she is Agatha's mother and tells her the story of how she met her father.

Zilitha: "Your father was a foreigner who ended up ship wrecked on our island. I took him in and nursed him back to health. In time we fell in love and you were born...but that evil man. H-He had a terrible obsession with you and...he fled taking you with him mere weeks after you were born. I-I'm sorry I was never there...I'm sorry I couldn't stop him."

Zilitha chokes back another sob while she looks at Agatha to her surprise her daughter is serene and unbothered.

Agatha: "It's okay...I don't regret any of it we can make up for lost time you and I."

Her words cause her mother to look up at her in surprise and she can only nod in tears. That's when Duncan stands up and looks through the window at the storm outside with a wistful gaze.

Duncan: "Agatha...I think you should stay here with them you could have a life here a new life."

Duncan suggests in a calm tone of voice and Agatha smiles and nods.
