His Drama Queen 👑 Chapter 6

Sooraj's P.O.V

    I salamed and entered my room,not needing any kind of disturbance,and immediately I turned, Lo and behold Surayya was happily sprawled on my bed like a snail, expectantly looking at me,and waiting to be told about the meeting with Maryuda but guess what I'm saying nothing.

What? Why are you looking at me like that?I asked her

Yaya you should know already,i want to know how the meeting with Maryuda went.

Well keep wanting to know I'm saying nothing to you,now leave my room. I walked to my closet to get rid of these clothings and put something light on,after changing I came out and Surayya was still there, playing candy crush quietly. And what are you still doing here Surayya?I thought I asked you to leave my room?and what In the world were you doing here in the first place?

   Haba mana Yaya, you know exactly why I'm here, just tell me and I won't bother you again please pretty please,she said trying on a puppy face that looks horrible on her.

Okay okay fine,I'll tell you so stop making such a face,so I don't end up having a nightmare.

Haba Mana Yaya, that's not a nice thing to say to me,she whined. Are you interested or you want to keep on whining?

Sorry go on,go on.

Suri I honestly do not know how or where you met such an ill mannered girl from,she is so rude and annoying,after making me wait for an hour and thirty minutes,she came and didn't have the courtesy to apologise for wasting my time,can you imagine that?
I almost lost it.

Yaya you probably went ahead and showed her your arrogant side, else the Maryuda i met is such a nice girl,such a funny character,and at this point she is busy laughing hard and clutching her stomach, while I'm merely seconds away from loosing it.

You know what?leave my room right now,I'm in this spot because of you and all you can think of is to laugh and make fun of the situation?

Yaya I'm really sorry i didn't mean it that way, I'm sorry.

Suri just leave my room i need to be alone right now. She walked to the door as if unsure of leaving,she turned abruptly and looked at me,Yaya I'm sorry for putting you in such a spot,I met her and she was nice and cool,so i thought she might be a good choice,i did this with your best interest at heart,she said at the verge of tears,and i just felt weak after seeing her face like that,one thing I can't tolerate is Surayya's tears,all the anger I felt towards her just flew out of the window.

Suri there's nothing nice and cool about her she was probably pretending infact she was mannerless and hard headed nothing close to nice and cool. I said looking for reasons to make Surayya see my point.

Why would she pretend?we just met for the first time,she wasn't pretending Yaya,but I'm sorry for playing cupid. And she let the tears fall freely, while using the sleeves of her gown to clean up the tears.

I walked to her and hugged her with her head barely reaching my chest.
Surayya has always been a short and chubby light skinned girl,she had almond shaped eyes and long lashes that compliments her eyes,a replica of mom.

  I'm sorry i made you cry,I didn't mean to, I was angry that was why I wanted you to leave the room so I wouldn't scold you.

Yaya?she called,and I hummed in response, believe me when tell you that Maryuda is a nice girl, you probably kicked off from the wrong foot,but trust me she wasn't pretending, that I'm sure of,she almost inaudibly said to me.

Okay fine i guess we got off on the wrong foot then.

Asabe our cook said mom wanted to see me and that dinner was also ready,so i just went back down stairs seeing as I just came upstairs because I just arrived from the mosque.

I strolled down the stairs hearing mom and Surayya talking about something I couldn't catch on. I made my presence known and sat on the one sitter close to where Mom was sitted on the three sitter.
Mummy ga ni( mummy I'm here) Asabe said you called?
Ehh yes,well we just got a reply from Maryuda's parents.
Really mom what is the reply? Surayya interrupted.

Suri can you let me talk or we should just sit quietly and listen to you?
Sorry mom.

So Sooraj your dad should have been the one telling you but he is currently not at home,and.....

Mom please just tell us what they said already. Surayya interrupted again.
Surayya can you not interrupt me again and let me talk already? Mom warned, while I just stared amusingly at the them praying that the girl used her brain and rejected the proposal.

Okay I'm sorry,I won't interrupt you again.
Well the reply is positive. And Surayya was screaming and jumping happily.

We have been invited to go over to their house and talk but since your dad is not around we'll wait for him to return.
