Continuing the flashback from 6 years ago.

"I'm not going to beat around the bush Minho, but you need to leave Jisung." Minho's heart dropped.

"W-what?" He mumbled, and his father looked up from his laptop.

"He's a liability, as are all of your friends." His father voiced, and something clicked in Minho's head.

"You've been spying on me?" Minho asked. He had never told his father so much as Jisung's name.

"Of course. I needed to know what kind of life you've been living. And it's time to live a new one." Jung Hyeok said, and Minho scoffed.

"I'm not leaving my life behind, my boyfriend, my friends. No way." Minho refused.

"You don't have a choice. They will put you in danger, and in return, you will put them in danger. Do you think being in the mafia is easy? Being in the mafia means living like a ghost." Jung Hyeok said, and Minho scoffed.

"You're asking me to leave behind all I've ever known and not give a shit about it." All Minho could think about was Jisung in that moment.

"I'm not asking. I'm ordering. And unless you want me to send someone to teach all 5 of them a lesson they will never forget, I suggest you comply." His father's voice was dark and threatening, and Minho knew very well he would follow through with that threat.

"Father, please." Minho begged. Losing Jisung would be losing his life, and he wasn't ready to die just yet. It was a death sentence.

"They make you weak. And you are my heir. Being weak will get you killed." His father said.

"Leaving Jisung will kill me anyway. You can't do this." Minho cried, and his father slammed his hand down on the table, and Minho flinched.

"I have made myself clear, and unless you plan on going to one of their funerals, you will do exactly as I say.

If not, the funeral you attend will be Han Jisung's."

End of flashback.

Minho ran his hands down in his face. Of all memories, of all moments in his life, his brain just had to give him that one.

The day he left Jisung really was the day he died. And now that Jisung was back in his life, it made the pain so much worse, and he felt like he was dying all over again. Especially because the same voice that used to tell him how much he loved him now told him how much he hated him.

Pain like that was agony. Physically and mentally. But how was he supposed to tell Jisung that unless he left, Jisung too would've died 6 years ago, and it would be his fault.

He picked up his phone and scrolled through his contacts. There was only one number that didn't change through the years, and it was his little brother. Well, he was a best friend who was like a brother.

Yeah, Felix never changed his number in 6 years. The rest of them did. But if he called, would he even pick up? Would he be blocked? Minho doubed Felix wanted anything to do with him.

But he wanted to try. It was 2am, but that thought didn't cross his mind at all when he clicked the call button. This was probably a really good idea or a really bad one, depending on how this conversation would go.

In 3 rings, Felix picked up, which shocked Minho to the core, but he didn't have time to dwell.

"Why the fuck are you calling me at 2am?" Felix's voice spoke but he didn't sound like he was asleep.
