5) Reunion

These past 7 years had been a whirlwind, to say the least. The first year of college was the last time the 6 were together. They always made sure to visit Seungmin and Jeongin, too, so they were still as close as ever.

But in the second year of college, Minho disappeared. Literally. He wasn't heard of all summer, and when the new year started, he was AWOL. He had no phone number that they could reach, he moved houses, his dorm room was empty as if no one had been there in the first place.

Everyone tried for the longest time to look for him, but it was no use. Especially Jisung, he fell apart when Minho left. Without a word, without so much as a goodbye, he was gone.

It only ever went downhill from there.

Minho left because he found his biological parents. He didn't know he was adopted until that first summer of college when he disappeared. He found his biological family, including his sister.

His bio family turned out to be a mafia crime family, one that he was the heir of.

And once he became part of it, everyone he ever loved and cared about were immediately in danger, especially Jisung, so he cut ties without another word.

After the second year of college was over, Seungmin got a chance to study abroad for a year in the UK, and of course, he took that once in a lifetime opportunity. They soon lost touch because they could barely speak.

In the third year of college, Jeongin lost touch. He had no time to contact his friends or meet up or anything. They slowly drifted.

Then there was 3.

The last year of college was extremely difficult. Felix and Hyunjin broke up. It was a mutual agreement, but it hurt so much. Apparently, Hyunjin had developed feelings for someone else, and he couldn't keep lying to Felix.

So they ended it.

And the guy Hyunjin developed feelings for, was a mafia Lord who's help Jisung now needed.

Hyunjin then soon lost contact, and then there were two. When everyone left, Jisung and Felix vowed to never leave each others side. And they never did to this day. It's now been 3 years since college and now had normal jobs.

Well, Jisung had a normal job until he killed a dozen people. He used to produce music and found peace in it like no other.

Back to Minho. His adoptive parents were killed by his biological parents and Minho did everything he could to find who killed them. His search unfortunately led to a dead end. Or so he though until his investigation led him to his real parents.

But Minho didn't know who to be mad at. His adoptive parents kidnapped Minho as their own, raised his as their own son, and he loved them so much. But discovering that they kidnapped him killed him.

He was mad at his biological parents because they didn't bother to find him. Actually, only his father was alive. His mother died when Minho was supposedly 6. He said they looked for 2 years but then gave up because every lead was a dead end.

In turn, Minho didn't have a good relationship with him. He didn't know what to believe and it gave him some serious trust issues. He had a good relationship with his sister because she wasn't at fault for what he went through.

All he had was her. And Chan too who became a brother to him when he first came to the mafia. He reminded him a lot of another best friend he had, Hyunjin.

Even the thought of any of them hurt, but through these past 6 years, Minho learnt to deal with his emotions and push them as far as he could out of his mind.
