Chapter 19-No

"Wait you two are seriously dating? I never expected that.."

"Oh there's no way.. that's a lie, right?"

"Wow you're such a slut. Dumping and dating a guy every week"

"He is so childish.. you don't deserve him!"

"Ew don't talk to me ever again"

"Haha.. nice joke"

"No way! Just throw him away! He's such a loser!"

Nami woke up with a tight pain in her chest. Faint memories were echoing in her head all night about Luffy and hers relationship back then. What the heck.. why now?

She agreed meeting up with Vivi here tonight but she was too scared of being criticised like.. before

                       ~Two years ago~

Luffy wiped his girlfriend's tears "come on this is bullshit just ignore them!"

"T-They called me a slut.. and they said bad things about you too.." she sniffed

Luffy frowned and hugged her tightly "Don't worry.. they have no right to judge someone that they don't even know that well. You are not even friends with them"

The couple was in the women's bathroom. Yea and Luffy too. He just wanted to support his girlfriend who was sobbing in his arms. They made their relationship public and since then everyone started making fun of them or badmouthing them.

Luffy was okay with that he didn't give a fuck but Nami, on the other side, had been so affected by it. She was broken. Why all this hate? She.. no- they didn't do anything to be treated this way

"Come on we will be late for class" Luffy pecked her on the lips and held her hand tightly on their way to class. He just smiled to those disgusting stares and Nami felt like she would throw up.

A couple of months passed by and they had both gotten used to it. They promised to each other that they would be together forever

Promised huh..? What a joke

After the accident with Ace, Luffy had become a completely different person. At first Nami thought that this was normal because he had experienced something very traumatising and that he needed time to recover. But no.. nothing changed. His beautiful chocolate eyes had lost their light and his smile had faded away. His pale skin also didn't help the whole situation. And his soft sweet voice had now become a cracked emotionless whisper

Nami helped Luffy get through with all his problems. She really cared for him deeply. Luffy knew that and he really appreciated all her help and caring. But things just stopped working out between them.. they both stopped having romantic attraction towards each other.

Obviously the first one was Luffy. All the situation had broken him completely. They both talked a lot.. and decided to remain friends. Not drama or anything..Luffy truly loved her as a friend nothing more or less..

Nami didn't mind.. she could handle a break up but not losing her friend. Luffy was the best thing that happened to her.. her only goal was to make her sunshine shine again. And since the she has been trying having no intention of giving up

                         ~Present time~

Now Nami was afraid of losing Vivi. Of course this situation was entirely different but still.. she would be more hated if people find out that she's a lesbian

And yea- she is tired of men now..

"Ew you're a lesbian? Please don't have a crush on me"

"Stay away from me please!"

"And you think that you will find a girl? How pathetic! Even boys don't date you, you freak!"

She could imagine how criticised she would be if she decided to come out.. and except that.. Vivi will be hated too. She just can't let that happen!

But total was the day.. she agreed on talking with Vivi and she doesn't even know what Vivi even feels about her! She is so scared

"Namiiii..." Usopp waved at her face

Nami flinched and stared back at Usopp with a confused look "W-What?"

"Get up and get ready! I have made breakfast so eat it fast before your class starts!" Usopp smiled trying to lighten up her mood

"Okay thanks" she replied and stood up slowly. "Oh God.. today will be a challenging day for sure.." she mumbled

It was 8am.. Luffy stared at the pinkish color of the sky, as the sun rose. The morning breeze was removing some of his bangs from his tired baggy eyes. It was cold but still Luffy felt warm and heat racing through his body..A smile was planted on his face. His right hand squeezing a cylinder plastic box..

"What a beautiful view.." He sighed.. he had taken them again.. even though he promised Law not to
