The moment Wendy saw the demon running away, she heard Erza stopping Natsu from chasing after him. She didn't blame him, he probably wanted to keep fighting him. But she froze when she heard a thump. She turned her head around, and saw that the Flame Hashira had fainted, most probably from blood loss. She flinched, but she didn't panic or run to him immediately. If anything, she was more concerned about the people that Giyuu knew than him. She knows what he did to Giyuu. She knows what the Hashiras did to her older sister. Why should she worry about them? That was what she told herself, which was why she headed over to the younger ones, kneeling down in front of them. "Are you two alright?" she asked, her voice soft as she searched for fatal injuries to heal.
"Ah- W-We're fine, but..! Zenitsu! Where are Zenitsu and Nezuko?!" the boy with red hair and the scar on his forehead asked, looking around. Zenitsu and Nezuko. If Wendy recalled correctly, Nezuko was the demon who refused to eat demons, and Zenitsu was the blond slayer who cried a lot. Giyuu-san told the group about them, as well as the nurse with blue butterfly clips, and the member of the Demon Slayer with plain black hair and plain appearance. The thing was that many had black hair and plain appearances, so searching for that last one would be much more complicated.
"I got 'em over here. They're uninjured, thankfully." Gray called, carrying the unconscious pair in his arms as gently as he could. The scarred boy sighed in relief, placing a hand over his chest. Wendy smiled softly. She could tell he had been worried sick about them. Especially about the Nezuko girl, since Nezuko was the scarred boy's sister.
"We should bring the Hashira to where the Kakushi are." Natsu said, looking at the Hashira. Wendy could hear the disdain in his tone. And she shared that disdain completely with her fellow dragon slayer.
"I'll do that." Erza said, carefully picking up the man to make sure the wounds wouldn't bleed anymore before she hurried off. Natsu sighed in relief. He probably didn't want to touch that man. Again, she did not blame him. She wouldn't want to touch someone who said that someone should pour hot wax on someone else's genitals as a punishment either.
"Thank you so much..." Wendy heard the scarred boy whisper. Turning her head, she saw he was bowing down to them. She took a step back, almost falling back.
"Huh- Why are you bowing down?!" Lucy questioned, surprised.
"If it hadn't been for you all, I... I don't know what would have been of us. Thank you so much." he said. Wendy's gaze softened at those words.
"You don't have to thank us. We're just doing what is right." Gray shook his head "Besides, Giyuu doesn't want you all to be injured."
"Giyuu?! You mean Tomioka-san?!" both the scarred boy and the boy with the boar head perked up at that, although the boy with the scar was the one to make the question. They almost seemed hopeful about seeing her. Wendy wouldn't blame them.
"It's a long story. We can't bring you to her just yet. We have to let the Kakushi take you to the hospital." Lucy explained as she knelt down in front of the two "But we know her, she's a very important person to us. And she's safe with us. Once you recover, go to Urokodaki Sakonji's place." she instructed. The scarred boy nodded, understanding.
