Merry Christmas! Enjoy

(Joshua's POV)
There's a sense of quiet that I'm not used to—an eerie calm that stretches across the days, making everything feel surreal. It's been weeks since we got out, since we left the twisted corridors of the labyrinth behind, but the memories cling to me like fog, refusing to clear. Some nights, I wake up in a cold sweat, convinced I'm still there, hearing the distant echoes of footsteps that aren't mine. But then I roll over, and Dillon is there, his body warm beside me, his breathing steady, and for a brief moment, everything feels okay.
It's strange, really. The labyrinth tried to break us, to tear us apart, but here we are—still standing, still together. And, honestly? I've never felt more alive. More... me.
We've been spending a lot of time together—more than I ever thought I'd spend with anyone, to be honest. After all the chaos and terror, it's almost laughable how normal our lives have become. Dillon even asked me out on a proper date a few days ago. We went to this quiet little restaurant downtown, the kind of place that's dimly lit and probably too expensive, but it felt right. We sat there, just the two of us, talking about everything and nothing. And it was perfect.
I never thought I'd have this—something real, something I can hold onto. Especially not with a guy like Dillon. But here we are, figuring it out, one day at a time.
There's this moment that keeps replaying in my head. After dinner, we went back to his place, and I don't know if it was the wine or the fact that we'd been tiptoeing around it for days, but the second we stepped through his door, something shifted. We didn't even make it to the couch before we were all over each other, hands tangled in hair, clothes quickly discarded, and I swear to God, it was like every nerve in my body was on fire.
Kissing Dillon feels like... well, it feels like something out of a dream. There's an intensity to it that I've never felt before, not with anyone. His lips are soft but insistent, and when he kisses me, it's like he's pulling me under, deeper and deeper, until there's nothing left but us—just the warmth of his skin and the quiet urgency between us. It's electric, like every touch, every breath is charged with something I can't quite explain. Something that's been simmering under the surface, waiting for this moment to ignite.
His hands move up my sides, slow and deliberate, like he's memorizing the shape of me. And when we finally stumble into his room, the door shutting behind us, it's like the rest of the world falls away. There's just this—this magnetic pull, this need that's building between us. The bed is soft beneath us as we fall into it, our bodies tangling together like we've done this a thousand times before, even though it's the first time everything feels... right.
When his hands slide under my shirt, my breath hitches, but we don't rush. There's no frantic tearing of clothes, no overwhelming need to get it over with. We take our time, savoring every second. I can feel the warmth of his skin against mine as we undress slowly, piece by piece, until there's nothing left between us but the heat radiating off our bodies.
Every touch, every kiss feels like it means something. Dillon's fingers trace patterns across my chest, my stomach, his lips brushing over my skin in a way that sends shivers down my spine. And when he looks at me, eyes dark and intense, I feel... seen. Like I'm the only thing in the world that matters to him right now, and it's overwhelming in the best way.
There's no hesitation, no second-guessing. We move together, figuring it out, learning each other's bodies like we've been waiting for this. His touch is gentle but firm, confident in a way that makes me forget about everything else. And the way he kisses me, slow and deliberate, like he's savoring every second—it's enough to make my head spin.
