where to even begin with Juliet? it's so insanely incredible. now warning, it is very slow burn, but it's so worth it. it's so so satisfying. it's like enemies to friends to kinda lovers to enemies to friends to lovers (did I get it all?) and it's wow.

omg don't even get me started on saffy's ocs. they're all so well written, and saffy does an amazing job at writing all of the existing characters as well. everyone is fleshed out and complex, especially my girl jules. I. LOVE. Juliet. so much. and her interactions and relationships with all of the preexisting characters (and the ocs) are so well written and complex. and then there's also remus interacting with the ocs. specifically anne. it's so interesting to see that interaction and see his character through her.

saffy also does an incredible job of portraying hogwarts and diving into the marauders era/that war. the suspicion and hysteria within the order is so well portrayed.

now it's time to talk about Juliet and remus. jemus? ruliet? i don't think I ever came up with a ship name for them. well anyway, they are so so brillant. I love their relationship so much. it's so complicated, before and after the war. they each have so many factors to think about, and saffy does a brilliant job at realistically portraying their worries and complex natures. also, the pacing. its so natural, and it fits their scenario of star crossed lovers. and, since the pacing of their relationship is slow, it makes it so much more satisfying when they have special moments/their relationship is further developed.

I love this fic so much, and I'll definitely be gushing about saffy's other ones soon enough. please please please check out her work, it's literally incredible. that's it (for now)!
