The scouts return to Cherry Hill to recover after the fight they had to go through in the cave.
Raye: Master... Was it a good idea to leave Malachite alive back there...?
Serena: Yep, I have my reasons. Anyways..you four need to recover more than I do, seems that octopus monster really got to you guys, so chop chop! Remember, meet up here tomorrow night, okay?
Amy/Lita/Mina: Yes miss!
Raye: Of course, Master. Tomorrow, I'll show you what you taught me.
With that, they all walk home. Serena noticed that Artemis was staying behind with Luna and questioned him.
Artemis: Oh! Well, it's better if we both recover under the same roof so... Do you mind if I crash in...?
Serena sighed before accepting his request, in which he jumped in joy while Luna just rolled her eyes in disbelief.

The cats were walking around Crossroads and saw a TV on display showing the news.

Meanwhile, Serena is cooking a simple omelette for her family, they all sit around the dinner table but everyone besides Serena herself is sceptical about the food, despite the appearance looking normal.
Kenji: Thanks, sweetie but... You shouldn't have gone through all that trouble!
Serena: Nah, it's fine.
Kenji:*Gulp* ...W-Welp... Let's dig in, shall we...?
Sammy: It looks normal... But what if it's poisonous?
Serena: Oh please... The accidental taste of blood in monsters didn't affect me too much...

Serena: Nothing. Here, I'll try it first, since you're such a crybaby little brother.
She begins eating the omelette as everyone watches in suspicion.
