A/N Hello everyone and welcome back to another chapter of Dragonball Z: Shifting Tides! I hope you all have been enjoying the story thus far and I apologize for taking a break from Wattpad for a bit. Just want to make sure that some stories are done and completed on Archive to set up for the stories on this platform. This chapter will be a doozy when it comes to Isha's character that I feel as though should be put through the ringer.

Isha flew as fast as she could towards Lord Frieza's location. She had noticed his movements from the scouters of the fallen Frieza Soldiers that she had mercilessly killed. She knew that they were evil when it came to different planets, but she knew that she needed to stop Frieza from attaining immortality. He needed to be defeated, and not by just anyone... but by someone who had worked for him in the past.

As she flew across the sky, she came across Zarbon as the man floated in the air. The man was floating in the air as he stared off at the multiple suns that moved across the sky as a whole. Isha stopped flying and just merely hovered next to the man as they looked into the distance together.

"Isha, I know that you plan on stopping Lord Frieza from attaining Immortality. But are you sure that you wish to make an enemy of him?" Zarbon questioned, looking at her through a glance.

"Yes, I've seen multiple visions where he became immortal with my assistance as he killed others without reason. This is the only way." Isha said, as she looked where she sensed some energy nearby.

"Then I guess that later on we must become enemies. Lord Frieza told me to give you an ultimatum for when you arrived outside of the village that we're attacking. You will either kill the Namekians and prove your loyalty... or you will die along with them." Zarbon said, landing near their leader.

Isha was now left alone in the sky as she tried her best to come up with a plan for how she could make Frieza believe that she was still working for him but not at the cost of the Namekians. She shook her head at the thoughts that came up for different plans, but each one ended with her being forced to kill the Namekians. Which was definitely not something she wanted to do at the moment.

Shaking her head, she thought that she should make that decision later on. Since she wouldn't be getting anything done right now and she wished to land and protect the Namekians. Floating down towards the ground, she touched the grass as she felt the energies nearby immediately freeze in place. Glancing over to the plateau nearby and took notice of the two people watching over the soldiers attacking the village.

Her eyes widened when she saw that one of them had to be as young as a 7-year-old child, whilst the other glared in her direction. She had turned her head into their direction causing them to lower their heads a bit before she shook her head and focused on the task as Frieza spoke.

"I assume that Zarbon told you that ultimatum earlier?" Frieza questioned.

"H-He did sir." Isha said, as she stepped up.

"You have 24 hours to make your decision. Let's go everyone and take the Dragonball whilst your at it." Frieza stated before flying away in his hovercraft.

====================================

Isha stood as the wind blew her hair around. She kept a close eye on the Namekians as they stared at her with worry and trepidation. The Elder of the village walked up to her as he glared into her eyes as though he felt some kind of confliction in her. Isha looked at him a sad expression taking over her face, and as she sat down she placed her hands over her face.

This decision of waiting for 24 hours to kill the entire village, just to prove that she was still loyal... it was heartbreaking to her. She knew that Frieza was capable of kindness, she'd seen it in the past herself as he took care of his subjects on his home planet. Although they were all the same race, Isha had basically seen that the alien man was capable of showing kindness to others.
