It was another windy day at the cabin , kate being quiet as usual, toby making coffee , and Tim and Brian on a mission. Toby never liked when he was alone with Kate, or well... being with Kate at all. Because of how quiet she is, it was so damn uncomfortable. He was questioning if she was partially mute at this point.
Toby continued to hum a msi song as he made his coffee, Kate's eyes darting over to him a couple of times, but he couldn't even tell due to her mask .
"I have a question.." toby murmured as he looked at Kate , her nodding. "Why.. don't you talk?" He tilted his head slightly .
"I mean.. your not mute , right?"
It took a few seconds for Kate to respond .
"I'm used to being quiet . And to not respond. Slenderman also told me to talk less. And I have to obey my master." She spoke for the first time.. ever .
Toby's eyes widened as he nodded, taking in the response as he took another sip from his coffee . A understanding now connected.
