When Yanqing flew back to the training grounds on his swords and 11 fruit skewers on his hands, Yunli was nowhere to be found.
"Li? Li, where are you?" Yanqing shouted while standing in the middle of his training grounds.
"Up here!" A voice could be heard coming from atop of a tree. With that, Yanqing flew up to the tree, and saw Yunli sitting by the branch of a tree, facing towards the setting sun. Yanqing sat beside Yunli and handed her the fruit skewers as the two of them watched the sun set by the horizon.
In a blink of an eye, Yunli had already finished eating her fruit skewers, and was now watching the view in silence.
"This is... a nice view." Yunli said, breaking the silence.
"I agree." Yanqing said with a smile while also watching the sunset.
"By the way, care to explain why you jumped off the Zhuming ship instead of docking with your grandpa?"
Yunli jolted her body a little bit.
"Umm... well..."
Yanqing raised one of his eyebrows as Yunli continued.
"I'm... not supposed to be here. Hehe." Yunli said while rubbing the back of her head.
Yanqing sighed.
"Just as I thought."
"...Are you happy that I'm here?" Yunli asked while wiggling her legs by the tree branch.
Yanqing was shocked at her question.
"...Well, sure, I guess."
Yunli giggled.
"I bet you are."
Yanqing was now looking away, slightly blushing.
Suddenly, Yunli stopped wiggling her legs, and her entire being turned gloomy.
"Hey, Qing..."
"We've known each other for 10 years now..."
"and I had fun."
Yanqing turned to face Yunli and was confused by her sudden honesty.
"But I think...
today's gonna be the last day I'll be coming here."Yanqing was now utterly shocked and confused.
"...What?"
Before Yanqing could get an answer from her, she stood up from her tree branch while Yanqing was still sitting.
"...Goodbye."
And with that, Yunli started to dash inside the woods, trying to leave.
"Hey, wait!" Yanqing got up from the branch he was sitting on and followed pursuit.
As Yunli was leaping everywhere in the forest trying to leave, Yanqing was following closely behind her, leaping across the trees as well. After some time, Yanqing finally caught up to her, and this time they were on top of another tree's branch. Yanqing grabbed Yunli's arm to stop her from running again.
"Li, what is the meaning of this?!"
Yunli tried to struggle her arm out of Yanqing's grip, but to no avail.
"Let GO of me!"
Yunli pushed Yanqing with her other free arm, and Yanqing fell down the tree branch that he was standing on, but used his sword to catch him before he fell to the ground. Yunli then proceeded to run again, but Yanqing followed suit.
After more running and leaping, they found themselves back at the main palace, and back at the open garden where Yanqing and Yunli used to hang around. Yanqing finally caught onto Yunli, and held both of her arms together.
"Li, please, just tell me what's going on!"
Yunli was struggling yet again, but Yanqing just held his grip tighter.
"I said, let me GO!!"
"If something's bothering you, you can tell me and we can fix it! Together!"
"There's nothing you can do about it, now LET ME GO!!"
"Yunli, please, just let me help you!!"
After a moment of silence, Yunli finally voiced out what had been bothering her this whole time.
"I'm..."
"I'M GETTING MARRIED!!!"
