"Your parents aren't the only ones who have gone missing! The council have been taking people all over Glitz because of their strong hatred and rebellion!" Thistle said rubbing their palms together to make a magic image. It was like a life size movie but only the concepts, the ruff edges off what looked like the council leader and a crowd of 20 were in a  cave.

"Is that live?" Lina asked.

"Unfortunately. Perry's parents gave me this spell when they found out the council was after them just in case you did come looking for them. They found out that the council had allied with the witches and that's why they haven't sent defence and all the different states have been forced to do it on their own and with the borders it's really hard to get out and even find them."

Images flashed before my eyes of my parents running away, a baby Lumina screaming and barking, me getting home to a note with them gone. I could never forget that day. I didn't leave the house for 4 months after that. I failed my school exams and never got a job until Lacey helped me. I had terrible mental health problems, it was horrid. I felt pure guilt every time Lumina heard the door knock and was waiting by it day and night hoping mum and dad would come back. I rubbed my tears, the others to invested in Thistle's imagery to noticed the waterfalls in my eyes. I was a quiet crier.

"I had even received letters from the taken people, many of them being good friends of mine! But after a year of them gone I never got another thing. This spell almost never worked but with the presence of the RoughHearts daughter and dogs presence it must have reactivated!"

The others looked at me, Lumina wagging his tail back and forth.

"And this you will want to see!" but we never heard what they said because of a huge wailing siren. We all glanced at each other and ran back up to Thistle's house door. There were huge wailing sirens and people running and screaming in all directions.

"THISTLE THE FIRE DEMONS ARE BACK!" Algie yelled as Thistle was only just catching up to us.

"Guys get out of the house!" Thistle said as he put a cloaking spell over the house making it disappear with a small burst of magic. Huge shadows of orange reflected onto the ceilings of the caves.

"THAT BLOODY COUNCIL" a grasshopper shifter yelled grabbing their family together as fiery gargoyle like creatures chased after them throwing spears of blood.

"Perry!" Lina yelled. Every turn was another cluster of people running and screaming for their lives. I tripped over a rock and two fiery beings grabbed onto me, I struggled to fight back because every punch and kick burnt my skin. One of them gnawed onto my wings and I felt fiery fangs sizzle them away. I let in another kick before falling back on the floor. Lumina jumped in front of me snarling and showing his teeth towards the monsters. Lacey jumped up behind the monsters knocking them out with a frying pan in Rapunzel like manner.

"I knew these would be useful! Hm I guess they don't burn because they are metal. Nice!" Lacey laughed helping me up. The monsters melted into the rocky ground as me and the group carried on running. We had reached a dead end and the eerie growls of the monsters were nearby.

"Algie! You live here cant you do something?  EEK!" Lina squealed looking around her hoping to not so more fiery beasts.

"Thistle do you have a hole teleporter?" Algie said frantically waving his palms over the shiny rock of the cave.

"No! I lost it ages ago!" Thistle said jumping around.

"STAND BACK! I GOT THIS!!" Lacey shouted. She cast a spell turning her small flamethrower into a gigantic tower. Lacey flew up it signalling for some help from Algie and me. Lina, Lumina and Thistle stayed at the bottom to make sure no monsters came. The three of us at the top of the flamethrower pushed it backwards with all our might as a huge rocky flame hissed out from above our head and hurtled towards the wall leaving a huge hole.

"Thistle! Use your magic to tilt the flamethrower!"

Thistle ran straight into action creating a mechanism to tilt the flame thrower upwards with stone. It only took them 5 minutes. The monsters were getting louder and everyone was in a huge panic! Lina and Thistle pushed with all their strength with the now fully running stone machine as me and the others opened the flamethrower once again. Somehow the fire left a huge hole going right up to the surface where we were chased not so long ago. Lacey casted a magic shield around Thistle and Lina to help them fly up. We all flew up to the surface. As we did a fire demon grabbed hold of the magic shield surrounding Thistle and Lina. The villagers who were now watching were all yelling and screaming as a huge purple being walked toward us without anyone noticing.

Drops of lava dripped from the jagged fangs of the fire monsters. Suddenly, the army who was once chasing us was now shooting things at the monsters. Lina fell over in fear as Thistle tried turning the monsters to stone but nothing would work! After lots  of shooting and fighting the last monster was impaled with a water arrow as it screeched into a pile of dust, disappearing into the ground.

I looked around astonished the elves had helped us. On all the streetlights, cottages, fences and noticeboards were wanted posters of.. us? One of the elf guards ran towards us using an odd looking red plant that tied us together as another elf entrapped us into a long iron bared cage.

Lumina growled viscously trying to bite the elves through the cage. I pulled him back towards me not knowing what the guards would do to him if he nipped them. He hid under my jumper snuggling into me whimpering.

"Algie? What are we going to do!" I whispered.

"I don't know lets see what they want first" he whispered back.

We were being wheeled through the village. A purple glow was coming from the top of the cage. But due to the opaque window on top of the cage I could not see what or who it was.

The purple figure slid through the top window to come and examine us! They were tall, and had no flesh just bones, they still had pointy elf ears but they looked so distorted. They had odd patches of mottled blue skin torn around the body. They had huge fang like teeth and four eyes, eight arms, and tentacle like bones for legs. Massive purple feather wings grew out of their back and they had long waving hair which flew and sparkled on its own and a towering crown which looked like a wonky bridge.

"You didn't think you could get away that easily. I am the ruler of this place and you didn't care to ask if you were allowed in! Hmph!" they cackled.

"Did the council ask you to do this?" Lacey asked.

"The council! I don't associate with them! This place is run be me! My rules! My way!" the purple person cackled.

"AND IN MY KINGDOM NOBODY IS LIPPY WITH ME!" the person kicked Lacey five times in the face. Her nose turned purple as blood gushed out of her nose. Nobody could help her. Then the person continued to rip two of the poles of the cage and wacked Lacey in the head with them! Leaving Lacey black out on the floor.

My best friend was helpless while that freaky monster tortured us with their shrieks of laughter.
