I felt exhausted as I walked out of the restaurant. Things around me was draining me mentally. I wasn't prepared to have an encounter with my ex-husband. I wasn't prepared to labelled as a wife by almost a dangerous stranger. I had came to Kerala, to prepare for a celebrity wedding and not to get married.

I rubbed my forehead in exhaustion as I walking in the quite corridor. The soft murmurs grabbed my attention. I heard someone crying, a very familiar voice.

I halted on my step, something within me urged me to listen. "Shh... Calm down," I heard a concerned masculine voice.

"Go! Walk! Away!" The female shouted in horror as if she was terrified. I shook it off, should I interrupt? Before I could decide, a guy walked out. He was tall, he was wearing the uniform assigned to the staff. His orbs indicated that he was scared, he walked towards me, his face turning pale.

"There is a lady out there," he pointed from the direction he had arrived. "She is in a very bad..." He paused for a second, "I need your help, please be by her side until I bring assistant." His black orbs were pleading with me, I gave a small nod in assurance as he rushed in the opposite direction, to inform the resort manager.

I took delicate step towards the victim. The staff-boy face indicated that he was horrified with her state. As I moved to the corner of the hallway, I found the door open of the room. It seemed as if the room was assigned to store unnecessary stuff. It had numerous racks, and it was packed with cushions, blankets and other stuff required by the resort. The dust accomodating it, yelled that it was rarely used.

I sneezed as those dust particles were triggering my nostrils. "No!" I heard that screamed, followed by a soft sob. My orbs reached towards the lady sitting on the farest corner of the room. She leaning on her knees as her legs were pressed towards her stomach. Only her hairs and a beautiful dress, came to view. The dress hit certain familiarity as if I had seen it before, I stood a step inside the room.

Her shivering figure and her sobs were an indicator that she was traumatized with what had taken place with her. I felt it was better if I didn't disturb her and allow her with the space, she wasn't in a condition to have conversation about the event. Soon, I heard those rushing footsteps followed by people rushing in.

The same staff-boy had arrived with the manager of resort, followed by many of his colleagues. He passed me a thankful smile as they walked towards the lady.

"Ma'am, are you, fine?" The manager stood before the lady and one of the lady-staff attempted to touch the victim.

The victim jerked her hand away from her hand and removed her head from the knees thus rewarding us with her face. I was beyond shock when I got a glimpse of the victims face.

"Anaya..." Shock would be able to describe what I was feeling at the moment. I was beyond horrified. She wasn't the Anaya I knew, her face had lost it glow. Her beautiful face was covered with numerous bruises, as if she was hit numerous times. Her eyes had black circles around it. She looked pale, her beautiful hazel orbs staring at us in fear. The confidence she held was long forgotten, she seemed like a lost kitten.

"Do you know her?" One among them inquired.

"She is Anaya Kapoor," one of the staff answered. "What had she done to herself?"

"We will have to inform to police about it."

"No!" She screamed, "no! Please don't call, anyone." She kept crying and pleading with us.

"Ma'am, calm down..." The lady staff was trying to calm her down. "We won't call anyone," she assured.

Soon the doctor arrived and we were ordered to get out of the room. I excused myself from there and called Diya. I narrated the entire event to her as we were waiting outside the storeroom to know about her condition.
