"Isn't the heater providing any aid?" I inquired popping my brows up in inquiry as I glanced at my stressful Diya. She was in a pair of jeans with a loose shirt hanging over her body. Those messy hairs rolled into a bun and the set of orbs seemed exhausted. She darted her gaze from the heater towards me. Her eyes keenly observed me not a word rolling out of her tongue.

"You! I have so much to..." she had grabbed my elbow but before she could continue she got startled by the interrogation of a familiar sudden voice spoken from behind.

"Hi! Beautiful ladies!" I turned to find Mr. Tanmay a few distances away from us and took a step forward to approach us. "My apology!" His hand on his heart in a gesture of guilt. "I keep on interrupting your conversation," his eyes fixed on Diya for a minute. "I wanted to know if Mr. Oberio's engagement is taking place..." he eyed the surrounding as if asking for confirmation.

"Yes!" Diya voiced out. "So, my guesses weren't wrong..." she muttered to herself but I heard it. "Make yourself comfortable, the event will start soon..." she pressed a smile at him. "If you don't mind excuse us..." she was on verge of grabbing my elbow.

"I am highly sorry about it but I was going to ask you the same. I wanted to steal your companion for a minute or so before the event could start." His eyes fixed on Diya. I was going to object but she nodded her head in agreement.

"No!" I opposed, "sorry but Mr. Tanmay... we need to prepare some arrangement before the event could start... the heater, they aren't working over the chilling air. I..." Before I could complete my statement a staff member walked. He glanced at our surrounding before walking towards us. He seemed much younger in age but serious about his work.

"The set of the new heater is arranged, should we replace it, ma'am?" The guy inquired to her and she sighed in relief nodding to him as a command.

"What was that?" Diya asked coming directly to the point.

"I think... we should double the..."

"It's going to be useless..." she grumbled, glancing at the venue. We had arranged some pillars accompanied by curtains, to give it amazing vibes. Along with balloons hanging in the mid-air. The beautiful lonely sky stars glitter in delight. It was a wonderful venue if it wasn't for the chill engulfing my body, making me shiver with a sigh.

"I should had listen to you..." I excepted my failure on finding the cold winter night was going to trigger Mr. Oberio.

"What's the matter?" She forced me to glance into her eyes. "Did Mr. Oberio... got to know?" She waited patiently on getting rewarded by silence she groaned.

"Oh! Seems like your problem is solved." Tanmay chuckled standing beside me. "Now if you don't have..." he extended his hand and I hesitated for a minute before slowly putting my hand in his. His smile pulled into a grin as he nodded to Diya turning to step a few distances away from her.

As I had taken a step along with him. My eyes locked with a set of black orbs, his eyes stern but inside it was burning with curiosity, slowly stroking our intertwined hands. A voice from beside him grabbed his attention away from us. He was speaking to the manager of the resort maybe his influence had resulted in the heater landing early.

Tanmay strolled us around the open venue but my mind kept rewinding behind Mr. Oberio's motive. Maybe he valued the event above his ego. After all, he was going to get engaged and thousands of eyes would be fixed on him. He needed to make it perfect!

"Seems like you love to get lost in your world." His comment made me realize about his curious set of orbs planted on me.

I faked a cough getting uncomfortable around his intense stare. "You wanted to have a conversation about..." He keenly observed me for a minute before shaking his head in displeasure.
