Calm

Jungkook comes out of the bedroom. He reaches the Kitchen and finds Yoongi and Tae bickering about the dish. Jungkook then announces himself, " Do you guys want any help?" " No Jungkookah, you stay with Jin hyung. It looks like we are doing nothing but we'll be done making breakfast soon." says Tae. " Jin hyung is sleeping so I can help you guys. What shall I start with?" Tae and Yoongi both turn to look at Jungkook in utter shock. Looking at their flabbergasted look, " Is-Is e-everything okay? Did I say anything wrong?" asks Jungkook.

" No No, Nothing wrong. We are just shocked to know Jin hyung is sleeping" says Yoongi. Jungkook doesn't understand what's shocking about Jin's sleeping. " It's just Jin hyung doesn't come back home for a while when he is angry. It's the first time he has come home furious. He always makes sure to calm himself before coming home. He avoids being vulnerable in front of us. Also just so you know, I'm sure he came back because you were worried. It seems our Jin hyung is a romantic guy." Tae grins at Jungkook. Jungkook cheeks flush with pink, he clears his throat " So he usually stays out when he is mad at someone?"

Yoongi then says " Not anyone, just within the pack. He doesn't try to control his anger when it's someone outside the pack making him angry. He usually goes to hunt, calms down, and then comes back. It's his way of making sure he doesn't hurt anyone with his words while he is angry." " He worries about us so much but doesn't care about himself. He most probably vents out his anger through hunting, without really processing those emotions," says Tae

" Don't let me start with his wolf. You saw the way he growled at Jimin just for not drying his body. His alpha is really short-tempered. Jin hyung handles him well. But he is not someone who can do anything when he is angry other than hunting or fighting off wolves. So when you told us he was sleeping, we were just shocked to know he had calmed down. We are really grateful for it. I guess someone had some new skills to calm their alpha, I wonder what it is" Tae winks at Jungkook.

To protect Jungkook from Tae's endless teasing, Yoongi interrupts them " Okay Jungkookah, help me set the table". Jungkook with cheeks pink rushes out of the kitchen to set the table and avoid Tae.

Jungkook sets up the table and Yoongi joins him, " Can you go wake up Jin hyung? It's getting late" says Yoongi. " Okay hyung," says Jungkook, moving towards his bedroom. Tae calls him suddenly " Jungkookah you can use your skills later. Come back soon" and grins teasingly. Jungkook doesn't bother to reply just moves fast into his bedroom.

Jungkook enters the bedroom and notices Jin is in deep sleep. He stands close to the bed watching Jin. He looks ethereal and, at the same time intimidating. He feels like a creep for watching someone sleep and enjoying the view. He doesn't want to wake him up, but he has to have his breakfast and also he has to talk to Jimin.

So he moves closer but before he can call Jin, he is being pulled by Jin towards him. Jungkook falls onto Jin's chest. " Let's sleep for a while," says Jin, holding him in a sleepy voice. Jungkook tries to move and then glares at Jin when he tightens the hold. " Yoongi hyung called us to have breakfast so hurry up, first leave me, and then get up," says Jungkook wriggling out of his grasp. "Okay, I'll leave you but let me do something. Can I do it? Asks Jin looking below at Jungkook. Jungkook just nods. Jin then moves to sit on the bed and pulls Jungkook near him. Jin then cradles Jungkook's cheeks and stares into Jungkook's eyes. The only sound that can be heard is their heartbeats. They both move their face closer.

"Jungkookah!!" shouts Taehyung, startling Jungkook. Jungkook without wasting a second, quickly runs to the living area. He feels like he has been running from the living area to his bedroom and the other way around all day.

Jungkook became aware that all the others were seated at the dining table except him and Jin. He then takes a seat next to Yoongi. He somehow knows Tae is gonna be grinning teasingly at him, so he doesn't look at Tae. He notices Jimin looking down with a worried face. Jin soon joins them. He sits next to Jungkook but doesn't look at him.

Jungkook wonders if his action offended Jin and he is worried now. He suddenly feels the caress of someone's hands on his thigh under the table. Initially, he ignores thinking it was by mistake. But it doesn't stop and he notices those are Jin's hands. He then looks at Jin who is eating seriously with a straight face. He smiles and feels relieved at Jin's behavior. But his eyes met Taehyung's and Tae smiled at him wiggling his eyebrows. He looks down and tries to move Jin's hand. Jin then holds his thigh tightly and starts fondling.

Jungkook then learns if he denies Jin, then he'll just try harder so he doesn't mind him. He tries to finish his breakfast without minding Jin and Tae.

They all finish breakfast and move to the living area. No one can ignore the tension in the room. Jin looks at Tae and Yoongi, " Thank you for the breakfast" then looks at Jimin " So Jiminah, do you mind telling us about your touring on the other side?" Jin's voice is loud, robust, and slightly raspy. 

Jungkook notices Jin is no longer playful, his deep voice shows them his power and authority in the pack. The pack alpha Jin is even more scarier than the Jin who was fighting off the rogue wolves during their journey home. But also Jungkook observes everyone other than Jimin being calm, so this is not the scary Jin they all mention.
