Kabir shook his head in disappointment.

"This idiotic girl... I have no idea where I found this mental and how I became her friend."

"I'll go and get her mummy" Sameer said and ran off while Kabir followed him.

In their room, Agni was curled up in her blanket, wearing the AirPods she bought with her own hard earned money. The brothers winked at each other. Sameer pulled out the AirPods from her ears and twisted her ears.

"Why did you run up here?" He asked while she shouted in pain.

"Dei, leave me...my ears are paining like hell." Agni said, trying to remove his hands.

"You still haven't answered why you left." Kabir said, folding his hands to his chest.

"They are your family and I am no one to be in your private, family conversations." She answered and Sameer twisted her ears more. She yelled in pain.

"Private family conversation? You are also our family. You are not an outsider. Now come downstairs, mummy and the guests are waiting." He said, leaving her ears which her blood red now.

"No, I am not coming. I will feel awkward." She mumbled while rubbing her ear

Sameer shook his head and took a deep breath before yelling.

"Mummy, Agni is not coming downstairs, shall I bring her?" He asked to his mum, who was downstairs.

She shouted back to him, "yeah... do as you wish...just make her come down." And sighed.

Sameer smirked at her who frowned in confusion. He just heaved her and lifted her on his shoulder. She started beating his shoulders as much as she could but it made no difference to Sameer. He carried her to the living room where all the five elders were waiting for them. Raj's mouth opened wide in shock. Aadini giggled seeing this. Jagadish facepalmed himself while Jeevitha glared, not at Sameer but at Agni. Finally after they reached near Jeevitha, Sameer left her down. Jeevitha twisted her ears hard. Agni yelled in pain.

"How many times should we tell you, don't be scared of meeting new humans. And they are your family. Why did you run away?" She asked while Agni tried to loosen her grip.

"I didn't want to invade your privacy with your family ma'am." Agni mumbled, inaudible to Aadini and others.

"My family? They are your family also Agni. You are my daughter, understand? Never ever think that you are not part of this family." Jeevitha left her ear and scolded her.

"Chitthi, could you please tell us what's going on?" Aadini asked Jeevitha. Jeevitha turned towards her and realised she hadn't introduced the others.

"Oh sorry guys. So this is my eldest son, Kabir." She said, pointing at him. "This is my second son, Sameer. They both are twins." She said, now pointing at Sameer.

"Oh so these are your kids. And this pretty girl is?" Asked the lady carrying the baby.

"She is our daughter-" Started off Jeevitha but Agni introduced herself.

"I am Agni, Agni Zeronis Zecallion. Jeevitha ma'am and Rudhran sir have been kind enough to sponsor my studies and have given me a place in their beautiful house. Now if you respected great people don't mind, I will take my leave sirs and ma'ams" Agni finished, bowed and turned to leave.

"She is our daughter Agni. Whatever she said is true but we see her as our own daughter." Said Rudhran, standing at the doorstep.

He took long strides, handed his bag to Jeevitha and gave a hug to Agni first.
