"Oh, so Sorry, I just didn't know." Jagadish said, apologizing to both Agni and the twins. The twins glared at him a bit but then sighed out, smiling at him.

"Sorry Chittappa, We are just a bit protective over her." Sameer said, while Kabir nodded with his arm over Agni's shoulder.

"More like over protective." Jeevitha mumbled, audible to everyone. 

Sameer scowled at his mother, while She pulled her tongue at him. All laughed except Agni, who was lost in her thoughts.

'If only my mother and father were here too, would I be having fun with them, pulling their leg and maybe even have siblings?'

"Anything wrong Agni?" Aadhini asked, making Agni jump in surprise.

"What? No ma'am, I am fine." Agni said, putting up a smile.

"You might be sponsored by Chittaps and Chitts hence maybe call them ma'am and sir, but I am nowhere related to that so Akka is fine da." Aadhini said, making Agni shake her head horizontally.

"I don't call anyone with relations ma'am. You can ask Raj sir about it as well. Even though we were close, I never called him 'anna' or something." She replied, making Rudhran and his family sigh in sadness while Aadhini looked at Raj, who sighed as well and nodded.

"Okay, but that doesn't stop me from calling you as a sister right? How does chintu sound?" Aadhini asked chirpily, making Agni get shocked. She was too surprised to answer.

Usually people just found her annoying and too extra due to her distant behaviour but this lady was being extra sweet to her.

"Aadhini had also never seen her family. Only when she was 21, she was told that she had some fortune of her family and that her surname was Harshavardhan." Raj said, answering Agni's unasked question. 

Agni just same a solemn smile and continued to stare that the ground. The elders looked at each other.

"Agni, do you want to go up to your room?" Kabir signed, after tapping on her shoulders which made her jump again.

"No, you guys wanted me here, it is fine." She just replied and gave him a smile that he returned.

Rudhran and Raj shared a look while Aadhini and Jeevitha chatted along.

The family had a sweet catching up session, following a lovely dinner with friends.

"Okay da, We will leave. We are actually moving to the nearby mansion for the time being actually. We have some business here which might take some time ." Raj said, moving to the door with the others.

"you could have just stayed over here, bro." Jeevitha told him, making him smile.

"No ma, it is fine. We don't know what time we will leave and come back. We are setting up a branch of Harshavardhan Fashions here, hence the setting up might have a lot of work and stuff." Raj replied, making Jeevitha nod.

Raj gave Rudhran and Jeevitha a brief hug, and waved goodbye to the kids. He smiled at Agni and shook her hands but said nothing.

Everyone left, making Agni silently huff. She silently waiting for Rudhran and Jeevitha to move to the living while she ran off to her room. Kabir and Sameer looked at each other and followed Agni to their room.

"Did you monitor her? How is she doing?" A tall man was talking on the phone, rolling his paper weight in his palm.

"I monitored her and found out that she met up with the boy. The hunts are together now, so all we need is the effect to kick start." The person on the other side replied, having a smirk on his face.

"Come on, we need to speed up the work. We have worked and waited on this for too long. The risks we took are high, we need this to work." The man growled, tapping the paper weight on the table slowly.

"I know, but hurrying could mess the whole thing up." The other person said, making the man yell in anger.

"Urgh, I don't care. I have waited long enough. Very long for this to work." He yelled and threw the paper weight on his PA, making blood from his forehead splash and drip on the papers in his hand.

The PA dared not to react since he had a wife and a daughter to go back to. The blood dripped heavily, and covered the front page. He quickly removed that first sheet and wiped the blood drops off the title that read 'Project HPP: life and death. Attempt 3.'

"Ma, we are leaving." Sameer called out, heaving his bag on his broad shoulders while his brother Kabir rolled eyes at his choice of clothing.

It was irking Kabir to see him twining with Agni, who seemed to notice as well. Agni just shrugged while Sameer smirked at his brother's annoyance.

"What is it Kabir?" Sameer asked innocently and before Kabir's fist reached his head, He made a run to the car, pulling Agni along.

The Trio, after a long banter, finally reached their college, Aanhsler University. They got down at the parking and walked to the front office.

"Kabir, did you text them?" Sameer asked, looking around. 

"Yeah, they texted they are on their way. Vicky said he is waiting at the front of the front office." Kabir said, making Sameer search.

Agni stiffled as she felt someone covering her eyes from behind, and she heard a whisper near her ears.

"Guess who?" 

"Vikram?" She called out, slightly shivering. 

Vikram, who felt her shiver, frowned initially but then bit his tongue as he remembered her fear of new people.

"I am so sorry, I fo-" He started apologizing, but stopped when he heard Agni chuckle.

"It is fine." She simply said, making Kabir and Sameer's jaws drop while Vikram just flashed his grin at her.

The girls joined them and together the gang went to the front office.

"You all are in the G3 room. All are in same batch and classroom." The manager said in a bored, monotonous voice.

Amaira and Amulya squealed in happiness while the twins just smiled at them. Agni was in her usual blank face. Vikram nudged her and gestured 'what?'

She just shook her head. The twins' smile dropped when they say this silent exchange between their Agni and Vikram. They both shook their heads together simultaneously, making the others get confused.

"What happened Sameer? " Amulya asked, while Sameer shook his head again.

"Nothing and Sam is enough." He said and pulled Agni with him, who held Kabir's wrist and pulled him along. The other three just looked at each other, shrugged and followed them.
