Destined Once Again for You

CHAPTER 4

Pallavi felt like her world is turning dark. The man she once loved is standing right in front of her. She stood there still for ten seconds.

 Once she came out of her shock, she noticed the changes that appeared on his face. He has now got a beard that made him look like a more matured person. He was wearing a black suite that made him look even more handsome. His sharp eyes, that she had adored once,  still had that glow but something was missing in them . . . 

Is her eyes betraying her or is it really him? So JRP Company belongs to Raghav then?

A part of her was happy for his success. She knew that Raghav deserved everything that he had today. She had seen his hard work and she knew that he was gonna make it big and of course he proved her right!

But the other part of her got reminded by his rejection. How he decided to throw her from his life and what all she had to face after that. . . 

She saw that he was taking a step forward. His eyes held deep emotions. He came and stood in front of her and stared into her face.

She saw a small drop of tears coming from his left eye . . .

Raghav . . .is crying? She had never seen him doing that before except for one time in past. 

Did he missed her? Is that why he is doing this? But why Raghav? You yourself ended everything! 

He gently took her hands. She felt like an electric wave passed through her as her skin came in contact with his, after so many years. He was holding her hands tightly and the next thing he did was totally unexpected.

He tightly hugged her and make himself believe that she is really here; that this is not a dream. 

His Pallavi . . .she is back. He reassured himself.

And he knew that she has changed a lot in these five years. She has now lost that childish nature that she had always carried.  The Saree, long hair and that beautiful face. . .Oh my God, she is really looking like a Goddess now. . . But her eyes that always carried joy, is now radiating sadness. She is not the same anymore. . .

Maybe, even she missed him. She was also never happy after going away from him. 

But Raghav soon came out of his thoughts when Pallavi strongly pushed him away.

"What are you doing Raghav?" She asked him angrily.

"It feels so good to hear my name from you. I missed it all the while."

"You didn't answered my question!" The man standing in front of her was testing her patience.

"I always knew that long hair suited you the best and I am glad that you didn't changed you shampoo. You remember how your lavender smell always used to intoxicate me?"

Her cheeks turned red and he saw that he still had that effect on her. But she was not ready to take his nonsense anymore. She decided to go away from him silently. She doesn't want to face him anymore let alone work with him. 

Raghav saw that she was walking away from and stood there while folding his hands. Because he knew that she won't leave since he had already locked the Bluetooth door lock with his phone, the moment she entered the room.

He is not going to let her go this time and she need to know that now. He saw that she was trying her best and after a point she stopped trying and looked back at him.

"Its locked."

"I know. I did it."

"Unlock it. I need to leave."
