"How could you be so useless? Why can't you do anything right?" A guy yelled at Rose, and Rose looked at him with fear. The man walked closer to her, and then he slapped her across the face, and that slap made her fall to the ground. "How can a woman be this fucking lazy. You are made to work and clean and as well to make your men happy." The guy yelled out, and then he kicked Rose while she was on the floor, and Rose just covered herself. The man smiled, and then he stopped. Then, he pulled her by her hair, and Rose let out a painful groan. "You are useless; nothing you do well makes you worth anything. Without me, you are nothing, a worthless girl. A girl that doesn't know anything and a girl that doesn't know how to do anything." The guy told her, and Rose cried out, and then he slapped her across her face. The guy let go of Rose's hair and then turned around. Rose fell to the ground, then curled up in a ball in the corner. She didn't want to have this life, but there was nothing that she could do. She didn't have a say in this. All of this was all her parent's fault. THe life that she is living right now is her parent's fault. "I never thought that I would be stuck with someone like you. I always thought I would be with someone who was beautiful and knew how to cook or even clean, but no, I am stuck with you. And for what? So that your parents could go and have it with the money I gave them." The guy told Rose, and Rose looked at him, and then she looked away. "You could decline the offer." Rose told the guy, and the guy smiled and started to laugh. "You think that I would miss the opportunity to torment a girl like you. A girl that always got what she wanted? A girl that everyone loves. Don't make me laugh." The guy told Rose, and Rose just sighed. "You also think this is the type of life I wanted. I never asked for this." Rose told him, and the guy laughed, and then he came closer to her and pulled her hair again.

"But know this is your life, and you belong to me. Remember, you married me even if it was a forced marriage. But you are known as Rose Afton, and you belong to Willain Afton, and that is me. So deal with it and stop your whining." Willaim told her, and then he let go of her hair. "I mean, I don't understand. You're whining all the time. How can you whine about having money and all this power." Willaim told Rose, and Rose looked at him, then rolled her eyes. "I don't care about power or money. I care about my freedom. Willaim, I want to go out and see the world and not just be in this house. I want to go and spend time in the air, with the animals, and with my friends." Rose told Willain, and Willain growled. He shook his head, kneeled to Rose's level, and touched her cheek gently as if he was afraid of breaking her. "But you don't need all of that. I do all the work, and all you have to do is keep the house clean and ensure that there is food on the table and all the clothes are clean. Thats all. You don't need to show your face in public."

Willaim told Rose, and Rose shook her head. The front door opened before she could say anything, and both heard tiny footsteps running inside the house. "That must be our children. Know, get up and be their perfect mother and wife." Willaim told her, and then he got up and walked out of the room, leaving Rose alone. Rose slowly got up, and then she made sure that the purple and red marks were covered. She didn't want her children to start asking questions about it. When she ensured that everything was covered, she walked out of the room and met her children in the living room. "Kids, how was school today." She asked them, and the two smaller children ran up to Rose and hugged her. Rose hugged them back. "Everything was great mommy. I learned so much." Elizabeth, her second youngest, told her, and then she looked down at her youngest. "How are you, Chris? Did you do anything fun while at school?" She asked him, and he nodded his head. Then, he showed her a painting that he had done. "I draw something for you and Daddy. It's us at the beach. When daddy took us to the beach." Chris told her, and Rose smiled and then she nodded her head. "That's a great painting, Chris. I'll make sure they hang up." She told him, and then she looked at her oldest son. Rose knows that Michael knows something is up between her and Willaim, but she would brush it off when he asks her. "Michael, how was your day in school?" Rose asked Michael, and Michael just sighed. Before Michael could talk, Willaim came behind him and slapped his head. "This guy got into trouble with another kid. He is always getting into fights. Michael? Why can't you be more like your younger siblings?" Willaim asked Michael, and Rose looked at Michael. Then, she looked at Willaim. "Michael, tell me what happened," Rose told Michael, and Michael looked at his mother. "Yes, I got into a fight, but I did it to protect another student. Those bullies were giving a hard time, and I just wanted to show them not to mess with him." Michael told Rose, and Rose smiled and then she nodded her head.
