Damon ran his fingers through his jet black hair, which always seemed to have a perpetually messy look as if he had been running his hands through it all day. His piercing green eyes, like those of a divine being, scanned the area, causing people to compare him to a god in human form. As he moved with an aura of infinite power and authority, he chuckled aloud to himself.
"Looks like I'll have to put a leash on that kid," he mused, referring to Mary.As Damon continued watching from his spot, he observed Mary's interactions with Victor and Kassia from afar. His eyes narrowed slightly as he spotted Mary's tiredness and vulnerability.
"That girl looks drained," he muttered to himself, his tone a mixture of concern and annoyance.
It seems the little girl cannot take care of herself much work for him then he sighed internally looking bored on the outside.Damon let out a soft sigh, knowing that Mary was prone to getting herself into trouble, both deliberately and inadvertently.
"Of course she'd end up like this," he mumbled, shaking his head slightly. "Always pushing herself too hard and biting off more than she can chew."As Damon observed Mary and her friends from a distance, he couldn't help but roll his eyes at her stubbornness.
"Why does she always have to be so stubborn?" he muttered, his voice carrying a hint of irritation. "Can't she just listen and take a break for once?" She could handle herself for a couple of hours he thought until he got settled in the school . At least she wouldn't die by then right? He asked himself then shook his head then went on to register.
Damon knew that there was a growing coven in the university, and Mary's safety was at risk. His priority was to gather information about the coven and their plans and stop them from progressing Damon had a lot more going on hidden from human eyes .
Damon chuckled lightly to himself at the thought of putting a leash on Mary, knowing it would be an eventful time for him dealing with the wild troublemaker. "Looks like it'll be an eventful time on Earth for me," he mused, determined to keep the kid in check. Its his job anyway . So help him God.
Damon strides into the school office, his aura commanding respect and attention. The man at the front desk immediately recognizes his presence and practically worships him without even knowing his identity. With a flick of his hand, Damon registers himself in the final year of computer science, bypassing any restrictions.
The front desk would eventually forget he came into the room or the school in the first place it was a matter of blinding his eyes so he could do his bidding as he left the room so did the memories of him being in there left with him . The front desk was back to normal like nothing happened .
As he completed the registration, Damon turned to walk away, only to find a pretty girl blocking his path. The pretty girl, named Serena, stood in front of his path, pouting playfully.
"Hey there handsome," she purred, her voice dripping with sweetness. "Where are you off to in such a hurry?"Damon's gaze flicked over her, his expression remaining cool and unruffled.
"I have better things to do than waste time on pointless chatter," he replied tersely, his voice as cold as ice.
Serena, however, was unperturbed by his blunt response. She stepped closer, closing the distance between them, and tilted her head to the side, feigning innocence.
Damon shot Serena a cool, aloof glance, his unperturbed demeanor in stark contrast to her attempts to charm him.
"I don't have time for games," he said, his voice firm and composed. As he looked at the little girl in front of him, he sighed internally, muttering silently "Jezebel."Serena, completely oblivious to Damon's thoughts, feigned innocence and took another step closer to him.
"Oh come on," she pouted, tilting her head to the side and batting her eyelashes. "You're being so mean to me. Don't you think I'm pretty?"Damon's irritation flared again at her attempts to manipulate him, but he kept his expression cool and composed.
"Your attractiveness is irrelevant to me," he replied firmly. "As I've said, I have more important matters to attend to than indulging in frivolous conversations."Serena, her ego inflated by Damon's indifference, couldn't help but squeal with glee.
"He said I'm attractive!" she exclaimed aloud, earning a few curious glances from nearby students. She was unfazed by their stares, her mind still buzzing with excitement.
Ever since Damon's arrival at the school, he had caused quite a commotion, with students whispering excitedly about the new god who had appeared among them.
Serena smirked to herself confidently, feeling proud of her brief encounter with him.
"Bye handsome." She yelled only catching glimpse of his silhouette and of course he hadn't bothered about the girl talking to him even though he could hear her from a mile away.
Damon went one to settle down in his apartment which was next to Mary's . Very convenient now he could watched the little kid closely.
As Serena continued to bask in the memory of her encounter with Damon, other students couldn't help but gossip and speculate about him.
"Did you see that new guy who arrived today?" one student whispered to another.
"Yeah, he's like a god or something," another student replied, marveling at Damon's aura.
While the students gossiped and speculated about Damon, he was already far away and has settled in his new apartment. Readying himself for this life on earth.
