Author's POV

A man in his early thirties was working out in the gym, when he got a call from his office. The man is none other than Manvir Singh Grewal.

"Yes," Manvir said after answering the call.

"Sir, I got a call from one of our old clients, they will be going out of town tomorrow evening. So they wanted to prepone their meeting which is supposed to be held next week to tomorrow morning." Manvir's employee said

"Alright, I'll meet them tomorrow morning. And when is the interview for my new secretary?" Manvir asked

"Sir, we have selected a few candidates and on Monday Fateh sir will finalize one for you." He replied.

"Alright" Manvir said and hung up the phone.

Manvir's POV

I left for my room after freshening up in the gym bathroom. I heard crying voices coming out of the room next to mine. It's only 6 am, I woke up a little early today as I had an important meeting in the office.

"My babies woke up." I entered the room and saw the twins were crying and my 6 year old was trying to calm them down, they were probably hungry.

"Nirvair, bacha you go and sleep. I will handle them, they are hungry." Nirvair went back to his bed while the younger ones started making grabby hands while saying "pa-pa"

I picked them up and brought them to my room. I saw my wife, Inayat, sleeping on the bed. She came back home really late yesterday, it's been going on for a while now.

"Inayat, please get up, the kids are hungry." I called her while patting her shoulder.

"What the hell, Manvir. Let me sleep and please leave, I have a really bad headache. And take them with you, their crying is making it worse." She said being irritated and went back to sleep.

I sighed and picked up the twins and took them with me downstairs to the kitchen. I took a pot and poured some milk in it, turning on the gas. Most of the house help arrives after 7 am.

As the milk was being warmed, I went to the kids to distract them from crying. I showed them birds that were flying in the sky through the window, and thank god they stopped crying.

As I turned back to keep both of them in their baby chairs, I saw mumma walking towards us with a worried face.

"I forgot to set up an alarm last night, and even your dad didn't wake me up." She said and I noticed both the twins seemed so happy to see their grandma.

"Mumma, it's okay, you don't have to wake up early every morning. I will handle them." I said and mom just smiled.

"Were they crying a lot? Usually, they are done with having milk by this time." Mumma said while cooling up the warm milk a little to fill the bottles.

"I'll feed them, you go and get ready for your meeting. And remember, as soon as the meeting is finished, come back home." Mumma said to me in a stern voice. She is upset knowing that I am going to the office on a weekend. I wonder how she will react when she comes to know that I have a meeting tomorrow morning as well. She wants me to join them tomorrow for shopping.

"Yes Mumma, I will come back home as soon as I am done." I said and she nodded, but I have to tell her about tomorrow's meeting.

"By the way, Ihaveameetingtomorrowmorning." I said, taking up all the courage.

"Say it clearly" She said, frowning up not understanding what I said before.

"I have a meeting tomorrow morning, but I will be back by noon." The look on her face is clearly telling me that she is not happy at all.
