Chapter 6 - He owns you now

Letty can't move. She keeps replaying the conversation with Dom over and over again, trying to understand what he is saying. Because she cannot and will not have it mean that they are over. They have way too much history together. He is the only man she has ever loved, and she doesn't want to be with anyone else.

She is sitting on the steps of the porch, lost in her thoughts she doesn't notice Mia exit the house, "There you are. I have been looking everywhere for you. Omg, I have to tell you what happened with Brian and I...." Mia abruptly stops when she finally looks towards Letty. "Oh shit! What happened?" Mia asks, placing her hand on her friend's shoulder for comfort.

"It is really over," she whispers.

Mia is confused. "What is really over?" Letty loudly sighs and looks up at the sky, exhausted by the sheer conversation. "Dom. I don't think he is going to forgive me." Mia is finally understanding what is happening.

She has had many conversations with her brother, comforting him when he wanted to talk to her about it. She loves her best friend, and she loved that she and her brother were together, but she was angry that she broke his heart.

"Oh, Letty. Look, maybe you have to just show him that you are serious and that you want to get back together. Maybe he will change his mind." Mia says it comfortably. She knows her brother loves Letty and can't see him with anyone else. He just needs time.

Letty lightly laughs, "How? How do I show him?" Completely lost. "I don't know. But we will think of something. Okay? Let's go dance and drink our problems away for now, Mia encourages.

"Girl, you have the right idea." Letty and Mia both got up from the stairs and made their way back inside the house.

Dom enters the house the next morning, hoping to sneak in without anyone seeing him. But luck just wasn't on his side this morning because, as he opened the door, he was met with every member of his team. Dom sighs and whispers to himself, "Shit." Attempting to ignore everyone before they can speak, he starts to walk towards the stairs to get changed, but once again, luck isn't on his side. "Where the hell have you been, man?" Vince is the first to ask.

"Out" is all Dom responds, and he continues on his way to the stairs. Vince stops him again. "Out where?" He innocently asks. "Just out, okay?" Dom demands. Trying again to leave. Leon jumps up from his seat on the couch and points at Dom's neck. "What's that on your neck, bro?" Dom, not understanding what he means, walks to the mirror that is at the entry to have a look and groans. He has a bite mark on his neck. He doesn't even remember when or how it happened, but if he is remembering correctly, it happened when he was pounding into Brian in the shower 20 minutes ago. His orgasm rocked him hard, causing the blonde to bite Dom on the neck.

Dom clears his throat. "No idea; I'm going to get ready for the day. I'll meet you at the garage." Vince and Leon look at each other and say, "Come on, bro, we want to hear all about this chick you banged." Vince lightly asked. Leon added, "Yeah, bro, you must have scratch marks on your back if your neck is anything to go by." Both men laugh while Dom rolls his eyes, continuing to ignore them, walking up the stairs to his bedroom. Once he was in the privacy of his bedroom, he took out his phone and texted.

Dominic: Did you forget to mention something this morning? Aka, the bite mark you left. Good one, baby 🤬😡

Brian: 😂 what can I say, babe? You got me so hot, I couldn't help myself 😉 #sorrynotsorry
