Chapter 4: A Coma

Why did Dream leave. He should've stayed and explained. Now he could barely move and he is going to die in this alley alone. He felt nothing maybe because he was slowly dying. He doesn't even remember how he got injured. He just knows this is the end. He closes his eyes ready for death. He hears muffle voices but he is to weak to call out. He hears footsteps getting closer so he decides to try. All that comes out is a groan. He heard nothing after that so he closes his eyes deciding to just end it. He could feel light on his face but he he was to tired "Dream what happen" he recognized the voice and opens his eyes. The figure was blurry because of his vison. He heard a gasp from this person "SAPNAP COME QUICK" Sapnap? It then clicked in his head it was George infront of him. He could he Sapnap gasp and start dialing a number. "Im sorry Dream this is all my fault" It's not your fault " Please don't leave me." I won't. Dream wanted to say something but he couldn't he could barely keep his eyes open. Right before he closes his eyes he heard a set of 4 words "I love you Dream" that's all he ever wanted. He closes his eyes but not with black eyes but with pink.

George POV

Even if Dream is badly injured, I know he'll be okay. Right before he blacked out his eyes change color. What color I wish I knew.

"George are you going to be alright?"

"Before he passed out" I took a deep breath and continue "His eyes changed colors" Just by looking at Sapnap you could tell that his mood was lifted up. "Lets go to hospital"

~time skip~

After arriving in they were told to wait untill they waiting room. After an hour past George started to wonder if Dream will make it he had hope because of his eyes but now he was getting nervous. What if Dream doesn't make it. It's all my fault he is here. Before he could get lost in his thoughts more a hand was place on his shoulder. He looks over to Sapnap with a concern face "He going to be fine" I nod the go back looking at the ground "Do you know what color his eyes turn?" I shook my head no "What was the last thing you said to him?"

"Im sorry Dream this is all by fault"

Dreams eyes were still black and he look almost died.

"Please don't leave me"....

"I love you Dream"

I could feel blush rise from my neck and gets the tip of my ears. Sapnap most of notice because when I look over he a had a smug look on his face. "I-I told him" I pause not sure if I should say "That I.. I love him"

Sapnap POV

Yes! Its finally happening. Now all I have to do is get them together before George goes back to England. How am I going to do that with the most dense people there are.

Dream POV

The only thing I could hear was beeping. There was something on my mouth. Were was I? I tried to open my eyes but my body wasn't responding. I heard footsteps and voices.

"Will he be okay?" The first Voice was a male I recognize the voice but couldn't pin point the name.

"His vitals are stable, he is in a coma" by what they were talking I assume they were a doctor.

"I'll leave you guys to it, if anything happens press the red button on the side"

I heard shuffling happen and someone grab my hand. I was waiting for a voice so I know who it could be.

"Dream" it was the same person who talked earlier "please..." Their voice got shakier like they were about to start crying. "p-please wake up" I remember the name to this voice. It was George. He needs me, I try my best to open my eyes, make a noise or squeeze his hand.

George POV

I closed my eyes letting the tears fall down my face. I squeeze his hand in hope for a respond. Nothing. I close my eyes and put my head on the bed. I could feel Sapnap put a hand on my shoulder in attempt to comfort me.

"George?"
I look up to see Dream his eyes were a dull blue.
"Your okay" I hugged him immediately. He gives off a sad chuckle.
" I heard what you said" I was confused
"Im sorry I made you worry and its not your fault" He paused like he remember something else. I hope he didn't hear me tell him that I love him.
" I should've told from the begining I was insecure about it" I hug him again
" Im just glad your ok. His eyes turn to yellow, at least for me. A nurse walked and gasp
"Oh your awake let me get the main doctor." Right before she exited she stop and turn around.
"You guys should go home leave your number at the desk and we will give you more feedback" with that she left. I look over at Dream.
"I guess we will see you later" Dream smiled
"of course"
After arriving back home I got a call from the hospital saying he will be release tomorrow.

Dream POV

I ask them if they could tell George I'll be leaving in a day when I just got release. All I need a couple bandages. I wanted to surprise George and Sapnap. They only had a couple days left here and I ruined the first three. I got ticket 3 tickets to disneyland. After getting the tickets via phone I started heading home.

~time skip~

I still had my key on me so I unlocked the door. I was greeted by a certain fluff ball rubbing against my leg. I pet her indicating I miss her too. I hear muffled voices, the voices weren't coming from his friends they must be watching a movie. I put my keys on the table and put my phone down. It was crack and broken I was going to need a new one. I was really tired having a near death experience is scary. Im more upset I made George and Sapnap worried.

"Dream?"
He turns around to George and Sapnap standing there.

"You were supposed to be release tomorrow"

"I wanted to suprise you guys"
I turn around to grab my crack phone and showed them. George gasp while Sapnap grabs my phone.
"The tickets are coming tommorow morning" Just as I finish Sapnap slap his arm

"What was that for" Sapnap eyes were blazing.

"This cost a fortune let alone extra to get it here early."
I look away and I seen my reflection in the toaster, they were a dull blue.
"I feel bad for making you worry. I turn back around to them
"I wasted three days of your vacation and I wanna make it up"
George open his mouth but before he was able to speak I stopped him
"I-Im going to bed"
I walk to the stairs then paused

"Goodnight"
with that I headed up the stairs
