Chapter 3: Runaway

Dream POV

I felt more freedom. After finishing the movie together we all went to bed. Today was a new day. I went down to cook for everyone. After deciding to cook omelets. I grab all the ingredients and started cooking. Sapnap came down shortly after I finish. I handed him a plate and sat down with my own.

"Someones a bit happy today"
I look at my reflection in the fork and see that my eyes are yellow.

"I just feel more freedom now, I still feel bad about not telling George"
I didn't have to look at my eyes to know their blue.

"Hey remember George can see blue so don't get sad"
Right as Sapnap said that George woke up. I couldn't help it whenever I see George I get guilty.

George POV

The smell of food woke me up. I went downstairs groggily to see Dream and Sapnap talking about something, but what caught my eyes was not the food, but Dreams eyes. They were blue.

"Dream your eyes t-their... blue"

"Dream look panic his eyes turn to a darker blue. It could've been purple or still blue he couldn't tell. With that Dream ran out.

"Dream!" Sapnap sighs knowing Dream couldn't here him.

"I guess I got some explaining to do"

George POV

After Sapnap explain I felt bad

"Why was he sad?"

"It's not my place to say"

I pulled out my phone and dialed a set of numbers

"What are you doing" Sapnap is really oblivious sometimes.

"Im calling Dream to figure out were he is" it rings but no answer. A couple more rings go off before Dreams voicemail goes off. With sigh I set down my phone and grab the food Dream made

"What are we supposed to do. He nots answering our calls and we don't know were he is."
I stay quiet and continue to stuff my face with food.
"Is it my fault"
"What?" I look up from eating my food
"Is it my fault he was sad, was it my fault he ran away" I look down at my plate but continue
"Is it my fault we may never see him again"
Sapnap looks at with concern im his eyes but he stays quiet. After I finish my food I throw my shoes on and get ready to go.

"Where are you going"

"To find Dream" George said deadpanned

"Are you coming" and with that Sapnap and George went to go find Dream.

~time skip~

"George Its useless" Sapnap said "Without a car its gonna take forever"

Sighing in defeat George didn't want to give up but Sapnap is right Florida is huge he could be anywhere.

"Fine just let me check down this alley then we can go back" Sapnap nodded and I went down the alley it was to dark to see anything amd it look like nothing was there I was about to leave until I heard a groan. I pulled out my phone and turn on the flashlight. What I see made my heart drop. It was Dream but he look terrible. He had cuts all over his arms and legs. His pants were torn and his ankle was swollen

"Dream what happen" his eyes flutter open and the color of his eyes broke George into a shock.

"SAPNAP COME QUICK" Sapnap runs down the alley and after seeing Dream he gasp. The reason he gasp was because Dreams eyes were black. "Im sorry Dream this is all by fault" Dreams eyes were still black and he look almost died. "Please don't leave me".
