"You saw her too, right?"
I narrowed my eyes to my brother. "I don't know who or what you're talking about."
"Dude, it's totally her." Bill claimed, buckling in his seatbelt. It would be a weird fucking coincidence if it was.
"It would be out of the blue if it was her." I turned on my signal, circling outside of the school. A couple years back, we lived in Rochester. My dad had a thing going on with his heart and we lived there for around a year, considering the city had the Mayo Clinic.
Our mom made friends with this family and we used to go to their house like every fuckin' day. The oldest brother would drive me around in his Camaro and he even let me drive it once.
But the age difference was too big, we never became friends, although... we did with their daughter. It's all a blur but most of the time we'd play Fortnite on her Playstation.
Granted I was twelve, so it's understandable I don't remember much of it. Bill remembers more than me, honestly, I was only worried about our dad when we were there.
Then we moved back to Germany, up until I was in eighth grade and now i'm here.
It wasn't exactly Minneapolis but it was a small city near by.
The only cool shit we got here was the Mall Of America and that's pretty much it.
"Maybe, but it looks a whole lot like her." He held onto the subject.
It's just too... random.
We both lived in the same city for a year and now we're doing that all over again in a different one?
"If it is then... mom probably knows that they're back, she kept in contact all that time y'know? I doubt she doesn't know, so, maybe just ask her and we can figure it out." I suggested, he slowly nodded.
"Yeah, okay, fine."
—
"Mom!" Bill shouted, the minute we had gotten home.
"What's up?!" She called back, he ran up the stairs leading to our living room.
"I think I saw Ramona today." He smiled.
Her brows raised. "Yeah? Her parents said that they were thinking about moving back."
So... it is her?
