The afternoon sun filtered softly through the curtains, casting a golden glow on the room where Siddarth lay sleeping. His small chest rose and fell with every peaceful breath, his face serene and utterly at peace. Nestled in Charlotte’s lap, Siddarth clung to his mother’s arm as if it were the most comforting thing in the world, while his tiny hand gently held onto Sebastian’s finger, even in sleep. It was a scene of utter contentment, a moment of calm that seemed to freeze time.

Charlotte’s fingers softly brushed through Siddarth’s dark, silky hair, her heart swelling with love. Beside her, Sebastian sat, his eyes never leaving their son. The air between them was heavy with a love that words could barely describe—love for each other, and an overwhelming adoration for the boy who was the center of their world.

“He’s growing so fast,” Charlotte whispered, her voice filled with both wonder and a hint of sadness. “It feels like just yesterday he was a baby in my arms. And now… look at him.”

Sebastian smiled softly, his eyes filled with pride as he looked at his son. “I know. It’s almost too fast. Sometimes I wish I could slow down time, just to hold onto these moments a little longer.”

Charlotte nodded, her gaze never leaving Siddarth’s peaceful face. “He’s going to be so strong. So special. But right now, he’s just our little boy.” Her voice trembled slightly, full of motherly affection.

Sebastian gently squeezed the small hand that was wrapped around his finger, his heart swelling with the bond between him and his son. “I can’t believe how much he’s grown already,” he murmured. “Every day, he surprises me. He’s going to do great things, Charlotte. I just know it.”

Charlotte looked up at Sebastian, her eyes soft but playful. “I just hope he stays my little boy for a while longer. He’s going to break so many hearts one day,” she teased with a light laugh, her fingers still gently stroking Siddarth’s hair.

Sebastian chuckled, the corners of his eyes crinkling. “Oh, I’m sure of that. I mean, look at him! He’s already too handsome for his own good. He’s going to have ten girlfriends by the time he’s fifteen.”

Charlotte's eyes widened in mock horror, and she playfully smacked Sebastian on the shoulder. “Ten girlfriends? Over my dead body! He’s going to be a good boy, and we’re going to keep him away from all those girls with their eyes on him!”

Sebastian laughed, raising his hands in surrender. “Alright, alright, maybe not ten... but at least five! You know, the girls will come flocking to him whether we like it or not.”

Charlotte shook her head, smiling through her amusement. “No way. He’s staying my little boy. And if he gets any ideas, I’ll remind him who his mother is,” she teased, her smile widening as she lightly pinched Sebastian’s arm.

They both looked down at Siddarth, who had shifted slightly in his sleep, snuggling closer to his mother and letting out the softest sigh. His face, so peaceful and innocent, melted their hearts all over again.

“Look at him,” Charlotte whispered, her voice full of wonder. “How could anyone not fall in love with that face?”

Sebastian’s expression softened, and he nodded. “He’s going to be something special, Charlotte. Not just because of his power or his destiny... but because he’s *him.* He’s got so much heart.”

Charlotte leaned her head against Sebastian’s shoulder, her heart full to bursting. “He’s perfect,” she whispered. “Our perfect little boy.”

Sebastian placed his arm around Charlotte, pulling her close. “I’m so proud of him, and of you. We’re so lucky to have him.”

Charlotte smiled through the happy tears that began to well in her eyes. “We are. He’s our everything.”

As they sat there, watching their son sleep so peacefully, a gentle silence settled between them—a silence filled with love, hope, and the deep bond of family. Siddarth’s small hand clung to both of them, and in that quiet moment, the world outside didn’t matter. All that existed was the love they shared, the future they dreamed of, and the boy who would one day grow up to become the man they knew he was destined to be.

But for now, he was just their sweet, sleeping Siddarth—safe, adored, and loved beyond measure.
