Chapter 4

My surprise called and will be here soon. It's about 30 minutes away.

Right now we are watching a movie and having popcorn. We are watching Monsters University. The kids choice of course. But it's practically over because they are showing the credits. But this movie has clips during them. I took he popcorn bowls to the kitchen.

"Ok guys!" I said as I walked back to the living room. "It's time for us to go to the gym. Well workout room. Go get changed." I said. They all grunted and got up. "Oh hush. It won't be as bad or as harsh as training. Go get changed." I said while I went upstairs. "Isaac?" I asked from upstairs.

"Yes?" He asked.

"Are your bags here? Or stuff?" I asked.

"Uhh yeah. I dropped by here first and got back in the cab to surprise you after I talked to Derek. I mean. He said he was waiting to see me but only because he wanted to know how you reacted." He said, sheepishly. I smiled.

"Ok then!!" Then went into my room and changed. I chose Nike sport shorts with a sports bra and a tank top with my free runs. All black. Again. Derek was still changing so I got out both kids work out clothes. They can walk the tread mill and run slightly. I got them black shorts him a black muscle shirt with black shoes and her a gray tank top sorta like mine and gray tennis shoes.

While everyone was changing I got water ready for everyone. I got a text that it was here.

I walked outside to meet Cora.

"Hey!! I haven't seen you in 3 years!!" Cora said.

"Hey!! I missed you." I said. "Ok. So. You will go downstairs and change in the bathroom into sports clothes. I want you to be sitting somewhere in the gym until we get down there. Ok?" I said. She nodded. I went in to make sure the coast is clear.

When it was, I rushed her to the Basement door. I told her to change quickly and she rushed down there. I went back into the kitchen. Isaac was the first one down. I handed him a water. He thanked me. Then the kids and Derek got down here the same time.

I handed each the water and we walked downstairs. I smirked.

Ok. So what are we gonna work on first?" Derek asked.

"Well how about catching up?" I asked.

"What why?" He asked. I smiled and opened the door to the gym.

"That's why." I said.

"What's up, bro?" Cora said.

"Cora!" Derek said and hugged her. "What are you doing back?" He asked, still hasn't let her go.

"Well I was getting bored down there and Megan and I talked on a weekly basis so I said I'll probably come back soon and we set this up a couple days ago. Thursday I think." She said then pulled away. He turned around to look at me.

"You're the best wife in the world." He came to hug me and then kissed me.

"Ewww!!!" All four of them said. Derek and I laughed.

"Daddy. Who's that?" Talia asked.

"That's your Aunt Cora, princess." Derek said and picked her up. "She's my sister and she moved away a couple years ago, when you were first born, but now she's back." He said. She smiled.

"Aunt Cora?" She said.

"Yeah, sweetheart?" She asked.

"Are you gonna give me a nickname like uncle Isaac?" She asked.

"Sure. Your middle name is Marie so that's what I'll call you." She replied.

"How do you know my middle name?" She asked.
