"Pete!! Come here and get your clothes on!!" I yelled at Peter. He was downstairs with Talia, watching tv.

He came running upstairs.

"Why mama?" He asked.

"Because, baby, we are taking family pictures that Aunt Lydia signed us up for." I explained. I picked out a black polo with a white Polo icon on the left corner. Also, dark jeans with back converse.

Derek was in the other room picking out Talia's clothes. So I went in there to make sure it's nice for pictures. Which it was. He picked a gray high-low sheer button up shirt with black leggings and white converse. I'm sort of surprised on his choice.

"May I help you?" Derek teased.

"Yes. I have a question." I started. "Where did you learn fashion?" I laughed. Derek snorted.

"Well let's see." He started, acting like he has to think. "I had 2 sisters and a crazy best friend that dragged me to the mall and little boutiques. I guess it comes natural now." He finished.

"Hey Tal!! Your clothes for family pictures are up here! Come get dressed. Then I'll do your hair!" I called out.

A minute later, she was running upstairs. So I went to go out in my outfit. I chose a black sheer shirt with dark jeans and black heel pump ankle boots. And Derek, well it's Derek. So a gray v-neck with dark jeans and black shoes.

I did my hair and make up by curling my hair and dark smokey eye. I did Talia's hair by curling it and putting a black bow in it.

30 minutes later, the camera man was here and setting up. Derek and I decided that the big wall with the huge window was best.

After an hour, we were finished. We went through the pictures and decided what we wanted. We had two big family portraits, 2 big pictures of the kids, 2 huge portraits of just Derek and I. The rest of the pictures were just smaller portraits that contain silly pictures or smaller versions of the big portraits. He also will send a disc with all of the pictures we took.

We thanked him and tried to pay him, but he said it was covered. He told us a Ms. Lydia Martin paid for them. He also said the the portraits will be here in 3-5 days.

5 hours later.

"Derek?" I called out to him.

"Yes?" he asked.

"I love the loft but think about it." I started. "We need a house. An actual house. I know we own the building but we need an actual home. This could be a training place with different rooms with different equipment." I said.

"Where is this coming from?" He asked clearly confused.

"I don't know. Think about it though. We have all these pictures coming but there is little wall space. It's not the most thought of place to raise a family!" I stated.

"Yeah. I guess you're right." He agreed.

"When do you want to start house hunting?" I asked, teasingly while making my eyebrows up and down in a silly way.

"Tomorrow." He laughed.

"Good. We can leave the kiddos with Scott and Melissa." I said. He nodded.

Dinner was quiet. We were all tired so we decided to get some sleep.

As soon as my head hit the pillow, I was out like a light.

Around 10 the next morning, we dropped the kids off at the McCall household.

The first house was alright, but there was things I wasn't sure about. The next house was nice but not my first choice, Derek's either. The third house was amazing but Derek wasn't sure. The last house we went to. It. Was. Amazing.
