"A kiss is the beginning of violence."
"It will remain the same at the end."As the passing weeks turned into months, he grew to hardly think about the servant at all. She was just another forgotten presence in the palace, another burden too much of a waste of time to attend to. He had moved on to new interests, leaving her to fade away in the background.
Sukuna soon found his own path, choosing the darkest way possible. He threw away the love that they built together, abandoning it with pure hatred. That was the time that he realized that the lady was simply a stepping stone to his further strength alone. She was a mere distraction.
There was no need of her prescence anymore. He found out that he was able to live without her in his sight, that the words he promised in the past were nothing but lies. In the past, he believed that he could not live without the lady's smile, yet soon he realized that all he ever needed was to see her cry and weep in sorrow.
Sukuna realized that he simply wanted the lady to suffer in defeat. He continously dreamt of the lady's happiness, forgetting that his true purpose was to cause pure destruction. He once became swayed by her innocence, but that time flied away.
The lady rushed away on her own bruised feet, lifting her kimono with both scarred hands as she truly ran away from the King's royal palace. It all happened too quickly, but gladly she survived an escape whilst the King had his rest for the day.
'Why does it feel painfully wrong to think that your untruthful affection feels fabricated, yet your hurtful violence makes me feel alive, whereas it is where I am most felt loved. Your violence, it fills me with sorrow to think that I could never accept kind affection the same ever again.'
She escaped. The lady could've never succeeded in running away, yet it was simply because the King unspokenly allowed her to. He finally let her go.
It was over.
Is it truly over now?Has Sukuna grown tired of her?
Has he lost interest in hurting her?He gave her one last punishment, the most painful out of everything she had encountered. To be truly abandoned.
The sliced leash tied around her left foot as she ran, swayed until it caused her to trip and fall pathetically. Nothing affected her anymore. With the continuous punishments and tortures that the King had made her face, unlocked a defense mechanism to feel nothing at all towards anything else, not even affection.
She lost the ability to love and care,
Even if she was the embodiment of it.Her mind, body and soul grew to adapt and accept the harsh brutality in the life that Sukuna made her live. However, now that she has served her purpose, he found no need of her existence in the palace furthermore. She was better off gone, or even dead breathless on the grass.
'I've always wanted to chase my own dreams and break free from you, yet now that you have abandoned me, I feel empty.'
'I feel empty inside. Like I lost a part of me.'
'I guess I really did love you.' She smiled.'You had horribly affected my affectionate soul in terrifying ways, yet I still managed to find the true beauty in loving you despite all of your flaws and all of the burdens I gave you, but I think it's time to let go of you. I loved you far too much.'
If I did continue to stay by your side furthermore, I wouldn't be able to go back and deliberately be torn apart with the sin of loving you. I sacrificed myself to you, offered my soul to you in exchange for your love, yet you did otherwise.
