Joseph's POV
"Come on, let's go find somewhere to sleep," I said, wiping her tears away. We got up and I wrapped my arm around her shoulder. We walked deeper into the island and found a cave. How convenient.
Cynthia checked inside, gun in hand, and said it was empty. We found some dry leaves and sticks inside and decided to make a fire with the lighter we had in our backpack. We got comfortable and sat next to each other in silence.
"We can rest here, then tomorrow morning we'll find a way off of this island. I promise," I said, looking at her, breaking the silence.
"This is all my fault. I'm so sorry," she looked down, shaking her head. She lifted her head and said, " If I could've just waited one more day we wouldn't be in th-"
I smashed my lips on hers. After a couple of seconds I felt her relax into the kiss. She wrapped her arms around my neck and I wrapped mine around her waist.
We broke away and I reassured her, "It's not your fault."
"Don't lie," she said rolling her eyes.
"I'm not," I told her, lifting her chin to look me in the eyes, "Now let's go to sleep, we don't know how long we'll be stuck here."Blake's POV
"Hey, have you heard back from Joseph," I asked. He could communicate with us through the jet's walkie talkie so I'm surprised he hasn't yet.
"They probably haven't landed yet. I'm sure they're fine," Phillip said.I decide to head to the basement, Phillip following right behind me. I turned the screen on and waited for it to load. Phillip asked, looking at the screen, "What's that for?"
"Did I mention we can track each jet's location with this," I said to him, raising my eyebrow.
"No you didn't mention that," he said, copying my actions. " Well, yea you can. And... here is exactly where they are right at this moment," I said pointing to the red dot.I sat down and Phillip asked, "So what time should we leave tomorrow?" sitting down in the chair next to me. "Around 7 in the morning is good I think," I told him and he nodded.
"Um? Why aren't they moving," Phillip said after a couple of minutes. "Wait, what?" I said turning to the screen. The red dot was still in the same place as it was when I turned it on. "It probably just froze, it probably hasn't been used a lot," I said pushing some buttons on the keyboard. "You should try turning it off and on again," he said with a smirk.
After doing that, the damn dot still wouldn't move. "What if they crashed?" Phillip said, getting worried. "No these jets are almost new. They couldn't just fall in the air." I said, shaking my head. "Lets go look for them. We don't know how long they've been there. Plus we'll take about 6 hours to get there," I said already heading upstairs.
Trey's POV
"You understand the plan, right?" I said to the person in front of me. "For the 3rd time, yes I do," that person said rolling their eyes. "If you mess up I swear I'll-"
"I know. I know. You'll kill me." They said, interrupting me.
"Good. Now get ready we'll land in 10 minutes." I said, walking to the front of the plane.I landed the plane with no problem and stepped out. It was still dark and we started heading towards the red dot on the tracking device. I found them curled up inside a cave and I smirked to myself. I nodded to my partner and they took out a piece of cloth and alcohol from their backpack.
I poured the alcohol on the cloth and walked closer to their sleeping bodies. I crouched down and put the cloth on Cynthia's nose and mouth. She snapped her eyes open and started thrashing around. Good thing it started to rain. She started scratching my arms but after a while her arms fell limp.
I threw her over my shoulder and started heading out of the forest. I stepped in the plane and placed her in the seat next to me. I went to the back of the plane to get rope and came back to tie her up again. "England here we come," I said with a smirk.
Joseph's POV
I woke up sweating and confused. I looked around the cave and remembered yesterday's events. I stood up, grabbed the gun then I walked outside, wondering where Cynthia went. I doubt she'll leave the cave without telling me or at least without the gun.
"Cynthia?" I yelled, getting worried. I stopped walking and listened for any movement. After a while I heard someone far away from me, heading towards the shore. I limped back to the cave to get my backpack and started following the person without making much noise. The sun was barely starting to rise and I couldn't make out their face.
I followed them and raised my gun. I pulled the lever on the back, making a clicking sound. The person turned around and also pointed their gun at me."Who the fuck are you," I asked, glaring at the person in front of me.
