The wind howled around the towering walls of the fortress as the ninja stood before its imposing gates, the storm swirling with a violent energy that seemed to grow stronger with every passing second. The dark clouds above twisted into spirals, flashes of lightning illuminating the jagged cliffs and the treacherous sea below.
Morro's heart pounded in his chest. They were close—he could feel it in the air. Nadakhan was inside, waiting for them. The storm was his doing, and it was only growing more powerful. The island seemed alive with his magic, as if the very earth and sky were bending to his will.
"We're running out of time," Lloyd said, his voice steady despite the chaos around them. "If Nadakhan's after something that can make his wishes permanent, we need to stop him before he gets it."
"Yeah, but how?" Kai asked, glancing at the fortress walls. "He's not exactly going to let us waltz in and stop him."
"We don't need to wait for an invitation," Nya said, her eyes locked on the large, rusted gates. With a wave of her hand, she summoned a surge of water from the storm, slamming it into the gates with enough force to shatter the metal locks. The gates creaked open, revealing a dark passageway leading into the heart of the fortress.
"Looks like we're going in," Cole muttered, stepping forward.
The ninja moved as one, their footsteps echoing in the narrow, stone corridor as they made their way deeper into the fortress. The walls were damp, covered in moss and algae from years of neglect, and the air was thick with the smell of saltwater. Every step seemed to heighten the tension, as if the fortress itself was waiting for them.
Morro stayed at the back of the group, his senses on high alert. The wind whispered strange things in his ear, carrying with it an eerie sense of foreboding. This wasn't just a battle they were walking into—it was something bigger, something darker. Nadakhan's influence was everywhere, and Morro could feel the weight of it pressing down on him.
Suddenly, Zane's voice broke the silence. "I'm detecting multiple life forms ahead. They're waiting for us."
The corridor opened into a large, circular chamber, the walls lined with ancient carvings and broken pillars. At the far end of the room stood a group of shadowy figures—Nadakhan's pirate crew. They grinned as the ninja entered, their weapons gleaming in the dim light.
"You've come a long way," the leader of the crew sneered, stepping forward. His hook hand gleamed as he pointed it at the team. "But this is as far as you go."
Kai ignited his fists, flames roaring to life in his hands. "We'll see about that."
The pirates charged, and the room exploded into chaos. Blades clashed, elemental powers erupted, and the air filled with the sounds of battle. Lloyd and Kai moved like lightning, striking down the pirates with precision and speed, while Cole's earth powers shattered the stone beneath their enemies' feet, sending them tumbling to the ground.
Morro focused on the wind, using it to deflect attacks and throw his opponents off balance. He spun through the air, moving with the gusts, his staff cutting through the air as he took down one pirate after another.
But even as the battle raged, Morro could feel something else—a pull, a presence lurking deeper within the fortress. Nadakhan wasn't here. He was further inside, waiting for them.
"We need to keep moving!" Lloyd shouted over the noise, knocking back two pirates with a blast of green energy. "Nadakhan's not here. He's deeper in the fortress!"
As the last of the pirates fell, the ninja regrouped, their breaths coming in ragged gasps. The chamber was quiet now, but the storm outside raged on, louder than ever.
Morro turned to the others. "This is just the beginning. Nadakhan's been stalling us. He's waiting for the right moment."
Zane, who had been scanning the room, pointed toward a large, stone door at the back of the chamber. "That door leads further into the fortress. Based on the energy readings I'm picking up, Nadakhan is just beyond it."
Lloyd's eyes narrowed. "Then let's finish this."
The door groaned open, revealing a massive, open courtyard beyond. The storm above swirled with unnatural intensity, the dark clouds spinning in a violent vortex. In the center of the courtyard stood Nadakhan, his arms raised to the sky as he channeled the full force of the storm. He was surrounded by swirling winds and bolts of lightning, his power growing with every second.
And there, at his feet, was the Teapot of Tyrahn, glowing with an ominous light.
"You've finally arrived," Nadakhan said, his voice echoing through the courtyard. His grin was wide, his eyes gleaming with malice. "You're just in time to witness the end of Ninjago as you know it."
Lloyd stepped forward, his energy crackling around him. "We're not letting you finish this, Nadakhan."
Nadakhan's laughter echoed across the courtyard. "You still don't understand, do you? You think you can fight me, stop me from fulfilling my destiny? I control the winds. I control reality itself. And now, with the Teapot of Tyrahn, I will reshape this world to my liking."
Kai's fists ignited, flames roaring to life as he prepared to charge. "We've heard enough of your plans, Nadakhan. It's time we put an end to this."
But before any of them could move, Nadakhan raised his hand, and the storm surged with a deafening roar. The wind hit the ninja like a wall, sending them sprawling backward as Nadakhan's power intensified. Lightning crackled in the air, striking the ground around them as the winds tore at their clothes and pushed them to the ground.
"Do you really think you can stop me?" Nadakhan shouted, his voice booming above the storm. "You can't even stand against the wind!"
Morro struggled to his feet, the wind whipping around him with a violent energy. He could feel the storm, feel its power pulling at him, but he wasn't going to let Nadakhan win. He had spent his entire life chasing after power, but now he knew that real strength came from something else—from standing with the people who believed in him.
"Nadakhan!" Morro shouted, his voice cutting through the storm. "You might control the winds, but you don't control me!"
With a surge of energy, Morro pushed against the storm, using his own powers to calm the violent gusts. The winds that had once torn at them now slowed, the storm faltering for a moment as Morro fought back. He felt the wind responding to him, bending to his will rather than Nadakhan's.
Lloyd and the others took advantage of the opening, springing to their feet and charging toward Nadakhan. The Djinn sneered, raising his hands to unleash another blast of power, but the ninja were ready.
Kai launched a stream of fire toward Nadakhan, forcing him to step back. Cole slammed his fists into the ground, sending a shockwave of earth toward the Djinn, while Zane unleashed a barrage of ice, freezing the ground beneath Nadakhan's feet.
"You can't stop me!" Nadakhan roared, his eyes glowing with fury. "I will reshape this world to my will!"
But the ninja pressed on, each of them using their powers to chip away at Nadakhan's defenses. The storm above still raged, but it was no longer in Nadakhan's full control. Morro had weakened his hold, and now the ninja were gaining ground.
Lloyd's green energy blazed brightly as he charged forward, aiming directly for the Teapot of Tyrahn. If they could just get to it, they might have a chance to stop Nadakhan's plans once and for all.
But as Lloyd neared the teapot, Nadakhan's eyes flashed with anger. With a furious roar, he raised his hand and unleashed a massive wave of energy, sending Lloyd flying back across the courtyard.
"Not so fast," Nadakhan hissed, his voice low and dangerous. "You think you can stop me? You have no idea what I'm capable of."
Morro gritted his teeth, feeling the pull of the wind intensify once more. This was it. The final battle had begun, and if they didn't stop Nadakhan now, there might not be another chance.
With a determined look in his eyes, Morro stepped forward, the wind swirling around him as he faced Nadakhan head-on.
"This ends now."
