(Following Seycara)

The sprawling city was magnificent.

The towers that pierced the heavens were large and mighty. The signs littering the area popped with colour. The sky was stained with a permanent grey and always blocking out the sun. The lights and signs of the city were always turned on. All this created a constant night atmosphere. It was a wondrous sight to anyone who hasn't viewed something like this before.

The wonder didn't come from the city itself though. The city had two roads, one for vehicles and the other for the drones, witches, and dragons that roamed the sky. The top levels of every building had bridges, stores, and clothing lines connecting them. There was always something to see in the sky. The humans making their way to work from tower to tower, witches out shopping for food, drones bringing supplies to people, and dragons flying their young to school. It truly was a magnificent sight. Even though I was busy elsewhere.

"So the dragon tribes are split into eight chapters, aka, eight kingdoms and head species." I balanced myself on a thin guard rail, walking next to somebody. "Now the question is if it's true that they used to stem from one singular dragon chapter and species. It's rumoured that the original species was some kind of eclipsed based dragon."

I paused for a moment and checked the person next to me. "Do you think the old tale of the eclipse dragons is true? There is no proof that they even existed besides word of mouth."

The person paused and looked around. She was clearly searching for a way out of this conversation, or more likely, a way to get away from me.

"I'm sorry but my mom would hate it if I was caught talking to a witch." She avoided eye contact

"I-I'm not a witch though." I sadly knew where this was going; the same way as always.

"Oh, it's just that you talk an awful a lot about magic and stuff,"

"It's not magic, it's the study of evolution and magic science," I jumped off the rail and leaned on it. "I just thought we had something in common,"

"What in the world makes you think I would be interested in that stuff," She began to look worried

"Your earrings have the Book of Horns, Wings, and Tail insignia on them. You know, practically the equivalent to the bible for Doroboros? You might as well be wearing a cross."

"Is that what they mean? They were a gift from somebody because they thought it looked pretty." She began to take off her earrings and stash them away in her pockets

That jerk couldn't even wait till she got a way to do that.

"I'm going to go now. I guess see you around." I muttered

"Okay, if you do see me though please don't come to me. I don't want to be seen with someone who acts like a witch," She noticed my saddened look, "Mainly because I don't want to get in trouble after all."

She then began to walk away. Picking up her paise and never looking back, after all, who would want to see a human as strange as me.

I faced the store window next to me. On the other side of it, was a display area. Beautiful dresses waited there, just begging for someone to see them and snatch them up. One was a classic sparkly red dress, another was large enough to be worn by a dragon, and the last one was the one that caught my attention. A young, traditional witch outfit was worn by a manikin on a broom. She wore the black and purple outfit wonderfully; including the twisted hat and shoes.

My reflection began to match the manakin, taking over it, as if I was wearing it. My silver and rose coloured hair reached down and sat on my shoulders. My pale skin looked ghostly in the window. My lilac eyes made contact with the reflections. We were the same, but I couldn't help but feel jealous.
