(Following Seycara)

"Wait!"

I stopped and dropped to my knees. Nonstop running for such a long time isn't exactly easy on a human's body.

"Yeah, waiting sounds really nice," I gasped for air

"There is someone up ahead,"

I crawled to the side of the road and looked through a bush. Later on the road, at the bottom of the hill was a girl around my age. Her cute lime hair was neatly tucked away in her hood with a single strand sticking out. A simple medical mask covered her mouth and nose, only letting her pink eyes shine in her lantern's light.

"What is she looking at?" I squinted

The girl's lantern didn't light the area well. The girl kept shooting a glance at the world around her. She was an oddly suspicious person. She was up to something, it was just a matter of how bad it is.

"It's a squirrel," Herring kicked my hat off of her and at the same time off my head

"What kind of squirrel has two heads?" The girl set the lantern down next to the bloody animal

"Every squirrel has two heads," Herring hopped off my head, "And they always have, what kind of world do you live in? Wait, why are you soaking wet?"

"First off," I brushed my hair with my hand to fix Herring's mess, "I come from Earth, home of the single headed squirrel. Two, I got caught in the rain while you were taking a nap under my hat."

A bright, golden light flashed for just a moment. Smoke rose from the girl's hand and the corpse of the two headed squirrel. Golden dust sparkled in the air around them, dancing with the wind.

The squirrel twitched, then blinked, and finally stood up. One of its legs was missing which caused its attempts to walk look like a stumble.

"She raised the dead." Both Herring and I whispered in shock

"She broke the greatest law in all of history." Herring paced, "She has to be brought to the Myu's and put on trial in front of the gods themselves."

"She seems pretty cool, I mean, how many people can say that they raise the dead?"

"That's for a good reason," She placed her hand on her chest and raised her snout high, "Death is the most sacred part of life, and to break that is to break existence."

"I know death is special and all that, but so is life," I stood up "She gave that squirrel a second chance,"

"A second chance that shouldn't have been given,"

"Let's hear what she has to say about the matter,"

"Don't do that!" Herring yelled as I jumped past the bush

"Hello ms!" I greeted the mysterious girl

The hill turned out to be much steeper than I thought it was. It only took one rock to trip me on this slippery death trap of a mound. Each time I reconnected with the ground, a new pain found its way into my body along with regret.

Eventually I felt something soft collide with me. Judging by the path I was taking in my tumble, it was probably the necromancer I was trying to meet. A single grunt emerged from her as she fell onto the flat floor below her.

"I'm deeply sorry for my friend here," I felt the same floating feeling that Omen gave me, "She tends to be, let's say, stupid."

I looked below me to see Herring bowing her head apologetically.
