It was the day Ivy and Kelly had been waiting for—their wedding day. The sun was shining brightly, casting a warm glow over the outdoor venue they had chosen. The firehouse crew, family, and close friends had gathered, filling the space with love, laughter, and anticipation.

Ivy stood in the bridal suite, adjusting the lace veil over her head. Her dress was simple but elegant, with delicate lace trailing down the back and soft fabric flowing to the floor. Her heart raced with excitement and nerves, knowing that in just a few moments, she would be walking down the aisle to marry Kelly.

"You ready?" Matt asked as he stepped into the room, a smile on his face. He was in his best suit, looking every bit the proud big brother.

Ivy turned to face him, her smile wide and bright. "I've been ready for this for a long time."

Matt nodded, walking over to her and giving her a gentle hug. "You look beautiful, Ivy."

"Thank you," she said, holding onto him a little longer than usual. "I'm really glad you're here with me."

"Always," he whispered.

With a final deep breath, Ivy took her bouquet and hooked her arm through Matt's. It was time.

The ceremony itself was perfect. Kelly stood at the altar, his eyes locked on Ivy as she made her way down the aisle. She could see the emotion in his eyes—love, excitement, maybe even a tear or two—and it took everything in her not to break down right then.

The vows were heartfelt, the kiss sealing their union was sweet and tender, and when the officiant finally announced them as husband and wife, the crowd erupted into applause.

As Ivy and Kelly walked back down the aisle together, hand in hand, she felt like her heart might burst from happiness. This was the beginning of their forever, and she couldn't have asked for a more perfect start.

Later that evening, the reception was in full swing. The crew from Firehouse 51 had already hit the dance floor, drinks were flowing, and the energy was high. The lights twinkled overhead as Ivy and Kelly made their rounds, thanking everyone for coming. But when the DJ announced the first dance, all eyes turned to them.

Kelly took Ivy's hand, leading her to the center of the dance floor. As the music started, he pulled her close, his hand resting on the small of her back. Ivy looked up at him, her heart swelling as they swayed together.

"You look incredible," Kelly whispered, his voice filled with emotion.

Ivy smiled, resting her head on his chest. "So do you."

As they danced, Ivy could hear the crew shouting playful comments from the sidelines.

"Get a room, you two!" Cruz called out with a laugh.

"Severide, you're a lucky man!" Otis added, raising his glass.

Kelly chuckled, glancing over at their friends. "You know, they're never going to let us live this down."

"Let them tease," Ivy replied, smiling. "They're just jealous."

The song played on, and for a moment, it felt like they were the only two people in the world. But as the song came to an end, Matt appeared by their side.

"Mind if I cut in?" Matt asked, his smile genuine.

Kelly grinned and stepped back, handing Ivy over to her brother. "She's all yours, Casey."

As Ivy began dancing with Matt, she felt a sense of peace wash over her. Matt had been her rock for so long, and even though they had their ups and downs, he had always been there for her. Now, as they danced together on her wedding day, it felt like everything had come full circle.
