Fifteen days pass by. Ruhana still finds herself grieving on her loss. She didn’t have enough courage to tell Bulbul about the same. One afternoon, the doorbell rings and Bulbul opens the door, it’s Dr Mriganka, the one who broke the news of her miscarriage. Bulbul is surprised to find an unknown face in the house, she couldn’t recognise her.
“Aap kaun hain? Aur yahan kaise?” She asks, her curiosity piqued.
“Ruhana ji ghar par hain?” Mriganka asks politely.

“Haan, Di apne room mein hai, par maine aapko pehchana nahi,” She asks again, trying to know her.
“Main Mriganka hoon, Ruhanaji ki doctor. Unki kuch reports aai thi, wahi dene aayi hoon,” She smiles.
“Aaiye, main aapko Di ke paas le jaati hoon,” Bulbul says, though there are doubts lingering in her mind.
“Di.. dekho Dr Mriganka aai hai, aapse milne,” Bulbul enters the room only to find that Ruhana is on the balcony, staring at the sky.
Bulbul keeps her hand on her shoulder and Ruhana jolts back into the present. As she turns around, she smiles lightly at the doctor and asks Bulbul to prepare some coffee for them. She obeys and leaves the room. As she leaves, Ruhana turns her attention toward Mriganka, a hint of hope visible in her eyes.
A couple of days ago, both Ruhana and Vineet had undergone a few tests, and now Mriganka got the reports. They sit on the couch that is placed in the corner of the room and silence prevails within them for many minutes, before the lady doctor breaks the silence, understanding the unspoken question in her eyes.
“Ruhana, I am sorry, reports toh wahi hai, jo pehle thi. Because of all the stress, wrong medicines, tum abhi conceive nahi kar sakti, ya shayad kabhi nahi,” Mriganka says, leaving Ruhana stunned.

“Par tumne toh kaha tha ki iska treatment ho sakta hai? Fir?” Ruhana asks, her eyes filled with tears.
“Main koshish kar rahi hoon, Ruhana. Tumhe himmat se kaam lena hoga, agar bhagwan ne chaha toh sab thik ho jayega, trust me,” Mriganka says, trying to convince her.
